I'm so excited for this dinner! It's one of our 2 new places this trip--4 more days! But anyway I'm interested in hearing anyone's opinions on desserts specifically creme brulee, banana napolean, and valrhona chocolates. My kids (11 and 12) will be sharing and we'll be on ddp. There is just no way they can eat a steak that big but I'm trying to decide if I really want my own dessert or pass it (mostly) along to the kiddos so they don't have to share. Thanks!

Just had the banana Napoleon last week. Very tasty but split between two people it would only be about 2-3 bites each.

Yachtmen's Steakhouse and Jiko's are tied for our biggest let-downs at Disney. i had the fillet and the chocolate flight for dessert. Fillet was average and the dessert was not good at all. Huge disappointment. I hope you have a better experience.

DH and I ate at Yachtsman this past June and loved it! I had the Valrhona chocolate trio and I thought it was very good. A unique and interesting blending of flavors and textures. I will say that it was not huge, but very rich, so you may want to split it between two people.

The banana Napoleaon is awesome. The layers of white chocolate banana flavored mousse with the crunchy puff pastry is wonderful

We had the trio of chocolate this month. Two out of the three were very good -- they had a rich, dense chocolate base (almost brownie-ish) and one had peanut butter on top and the other had salted carmel. The third selection was coffee flavored and it was more like a mousse but not really mousse consistency -- more gelatinous than that. It was just okay compared to the other two. If I get this again I'd ask them if they could double up on the peanut butter!

I know it is not on your list but the Yachtsmen Sundae is my favorite,( the cherries are remarkable) we eat at the Yachtsmen twice on our 2 week vacations, the trio is good, just not my favorite, creme brulee would be my second choice. Cannot wait til Halloween dinner there.

I think YSH has the best creme brulee of any that I have had at WDW. Because it is rich, splitting one is a good option.

Thanks for the pic! The chocolate does look shareable but I'm allergic to nuts so sometimes chocolate isn't safe. My daughter definitely wouldn't like coffee flavor so I'll definitely ask about a swap. I'm so conflicted over this tiny detail ;) There will also be plenty of desserts at F and W Fest that night too....

When we dined at Yachtsman last year I had the chocolate sampler and that was very good, albeit very, very rich. I would order it again. DH had the banana napolean and that was great, too!
