yacht club question, please

I am going to the yacht club for the first time at Christmas...we have a water view room...Does anyone know specific preferences for room locations ...how would one manage to secure a corner room with the extra windows...i visited in feb and they showed me a room...it was beautiful and bright with windows on the side and a gorgeous view of the bw...how i wish i had written down the room location...this resort sure is gorgeous but i hope christmas isn't too overwhelmed with crowds...any advice!!!

We stayed at the YC in Feb. Just to let you know that we had a water view but it actually faced the garden and if you turned your head to the right as you were standing on the balcony you were looking at the water. I guess I thought when the waterview was booked we would be straight on looking at the water. Our room was very nice and it was fine but you should just know before you go.

Did you complain about the view...it doesn't sound like it was worth an extra 50 per night...thanks for the info

Go to the YC/BC Forum within the resorts forum, and on the first page you will find a link that will show you the floor plans for the YC/BC. You will be able to see what are the WV rooms, and any corner locations.

There are only 3 views/types of rooms at the YC: Standard, waterview and concierge. I think there use to be a garden view years ago, but no more. Not all the rooms considered waterview have a view straight out to the water. If fact, many have a view of the water and the gardens, but still a very nice view. The floor plans will help you out better.
