I love the YC. Concierge is wonderful. The staff is so nice. I especially like the balconies on every room. Not every room at the BC has a balcony. The ones at the YC are full size and have 2 chairs and a table. The lounge had good offerings not only for adults, but I thought for children as well. Of course, a 13 year old son equals adult in many categories, but if he is like my 15 year old son then he still likes mac and cheese and those sort of things. We've stayed at both places and while I have no complaints about BC, we prefer YC. That includes my son. Stormalong Bay and Beaches and Cream goes with both BC and YC so that really doesn't make a difference. The walk to Epcot is slightly longer from YC but the walk to the ferry boat to MGM is closer. I just feel more pampered at YC. Say hello to the staff. We were there for 7 days in July. It was absolute heaven. Enjoy!
