We are leaving a day early and have booked the Yacht Club concierge for one night before going to the Contemporary. It will only be me and my 13 year old son. Can anyone tell me if the Yacht Club is the best choice or should we go with the Beach Club. We plan on just hanging around the resort for the day and enjoying the concierge lounge, etc. Thanks!

::yes:: I love the YC. Concierge is wonderful. The staff is so nice. I especially like the balconies on every room. Not every room at the BC has a balcony. The ones at the YC are full size and have 2 chairs and a table. The lounge had good offerings not only for adults, but I thought for children as well. Of course, a 13 year old son equals adult in many categories, but if he is like my 15 year old son then he still likes mac and cheese and those sort of things. We've stayed at both places and while I have no complaints about BC, we prefer YC. That includes my son. Stormalong Bay and Beaches and Cream goes with both BC and YC so that really doesn't make a difference. The walk to Epcot is slightly longer from YC but the walk to the ferry boat to MGM is closer. I just feel more pampered at YC. Say hello to the staff. We were there for 7 days in July. It was absolute heaven. Enjoy!:wave2:

I have to vote YC also!!! I love this resort and agree with everything YCFAN said. I actually like the theme of the rooms much better at YC and the balcony factor too. I think you would love either one though because they are both great!! Have a great trip!! :Pinkbounc
