we have reservations at the BWI for October since we haven't stayed there yet but we really liked the YC so we are going back and forth on where to stay.

I was told that the renovations will begin the first week of October.

LOL guys !!!! Different strokes for different folks. I didn't like the bedspreads at all. They look too much like spreads for a young boy's bedroom. I liked the others better. Oh well.

I wonder if they replaced most of the daybeds with the desk, or if they kept the daybeds in the rooms that originally had them. We stayed in room 5161 last year and really enjoyed having the daybed. I don't really need a desk when I'm on vacation.

I was hoping to get the same room this year.

BTW......thanks so much for posting the pictures josierac !!!! We really appreciate it

Thank you thank you thank you! My daughter is just dying to see pictures of the new concierge lagoon view rooms.....wait until she sees these.....We are going for SSW on Nov. 8th to Nov. 13th and cannot wait for our YC stay......

I actually liked the colors at the Beach Club better but I loved the feel and relaxing atmosphere of the YC.

Yes. Right next door. In fact Michael Eisner was there about two days before we checked in.
