I loved your pics! We are staying YC conceirge Sept 20-27 and I cant wait to get there. I heard they do have rooms with daybeds and rooms without, you have to put in a request.

We were in room 5181. This was a connecting room to 5183. We only had one room but if you don't like rooms that connect this may not be the best for you.

5161 and 5163 will also have that same view but actually better since you aren't in an inner courtyard and don't have the sides of the buildings to block anything. We were very happy with our room though.

Thanks so mucu for posting them! We will be staying in YC lagoon view concierge over Christmas and these pics got me even more excited!! Hope we can get a room with 2 queens and a daybed with as great of a view

How cool Kimberly. We are staying concierge so I think that is the 5th floor. It would be great to run into a fellow Dis'er and also a mom of boys. How old are yours? Mine are 15yrs, 12yrs, 2.5 yrs and 5 months. Maybe I could loan you my mil for a few hours

Incredible view !!!! However, it is a smoking room.

Room 5163 would not have the same view. The balcony is on the other side of the building. If you look at Joe Cools's fifth floor layout,www.maryannwriting.com/fourthfifthfloors.jpg you will see that the room faces the other way.

The new decor seems less busy, I like the new bedspreads too

room 5161 is said to have the best view by the YC cm's

Hi Laura,
yes the new decor did seem less busy to me. As you know I wasn't too thrilled with the old decor in the rooms not that I hated it but it just wasn't me.

The room with the new decor seemed bright and airy and very clean.
