I have not stayed in the W or Ritz concierge levels, but from quite a few DIS'ers, the Disney concierge levels just don't compare. Basically what you'll find at the YC is an excellent pre-planning team who will help you with ADR's, tours, recreation, transportation, tickets, etc. They send out a nice packet of information regarding the resort and will also include an elevator key, which you'll need to access the concierge floor. Upon arrival, you can leave your luggage with bell services, bypass the main registration desk and take the elevator to the 5th floor. Between the hours of 7am and 10pm, there is a staff of concierge team members who will take care of checking you in and also making any last minute changes to your itinerary. The lounge is just to the right, but the floor is very spread out. Our room was quite a hike to the lounge. The lounge itself is fairly small with a couch and about 10 tables for 2 or 3 and 2 tables that seated 4 or 5. There is a little kids area with a tv and some pint sized tables. They also have a balcony, but the view is of the parking lot. The lounge itself remains open only during select food service times. The breakdown is that at 6:30am, the staff sets up coffee and tea carafes in the hallway outside the lounge. At 7am, the lounge opens for an expanded deluxe continental breakfast. They close at 10:30 for clean up and then reopen from 11am-4pm with snack items like pudding cups, nuts, goldfish crackers, gummy worms. They close again from 4-5, reopening from 5-7pm with wine, beer, 2 hot appetizer items, cheese & crackers, vegetables, uncrustables. Again they close from 7-8pm and reopen one last time from 8-10pm with cordials and some mini desserts. The lounge then closes for the night.
