I know that this is really planning ahead, but our next BIG vacation to WDW will be in April 2004. This is my son's senior trip request before he heads off to college. We would love to stay at the Yacht and Beach Club. In the past we have stayed close to the Magic Kingdom (Polynessian and Wilderness Lodge). This time we would like the close proximity to EPCOT, plus the Yacht and Beach Club is beautiful. How far ahead should we comfortably make the reservations? :)

I am going 11/8 to 11/13/02 to the Yacht Club. Made my reservations 2 weeks ago. I usually call at least 6 months ahead of time to put my mind at ease if I have a particular place in mind. You have plenty of time.:D

I am going to B.C. Nov 5-10 and made my reservation back in March. The B.C. has been sold out for these dates for about 3 weeks now. I am glad that I booked when I did. I say call now and see how far in advance you can make the reservation and make it. You can always get the discounts later on. Also make sure to let them know that it is for a graduation present. Maybe they will give you an upgrade. Its worth a try.

Hotel reservations can be made several years in advance. If you are planning on a visit during a school holiday the farther in advance the better, if you want to be assured a room. I am not sure when Easter falls in 2004 but keep in mind Spring break is taken at various times within a two month period of the holiday. We often go ahead and make a resort reservation then keep an eye on mousesavers for better rates when it gets closer.
