Y&R take 3 - SPOILERS inside

Well THAT was one hour of my life I'll never get back. What a waste.

That is exactly what I told my daughter - it was beyond horrible - it was absolutely the worst thing I have ever ever seen on Y & R. They have really lost it.

And the rewriting of history is getting to be ridiculous.

I just heard on Twitter that Vail Bloom (Heather) has been recast. Eden Riegel from AMC. OMG, I'm NOT liking this at all!

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0726180/

I bet Vail has moved on to do more acting as I saw her on ENTOURAGE this past season. As far as Eden Riegel, I have watched her over the years on AMC and she is not the nasty, snotty type that Heather is all about. Sooo, that will be a big change up role for Eden. I will say I have always liked her. ::yes::

Right and the not getting Ashley help when she fell and miscarried and letting her carry a dead baby inside her for months! Ugh! That's what bothers me more than anything. Sick!

Ashley miscarried. She didn't have a baby inside her for months. Dr. Taylor had to fake an ultrasound because there was no baby. I think, Adam burned everything.

it just gets nastier and nastier the more we wonder what happened with the baby

Obviously, she had a miscarriage but we can all speculate on whether that baby came out or stayed inside of her. I never saw a dead baby anywhere just blood on the floor. I don't think the baby fell out of her. I think she would have noticed. I did see Ashley with a baby bump for quite awhile though.

I also remember Dr. Taylor doing a fake ultrasound so she'd believe the baby was alive. Doesn't mean the baby wasn't inside of her, dead.

Regardless, he's a disgusting monster now matter what actually happened with the baby.

Sharon Shocker!

Holds your hats Y&R fans, because this week marks a huge development in the twisted baby story.

For Sharon, lots of questions are raised after her crazy dream and what happens next will change her in a big way. "It's been a long journey," teases Sharon Case.

The biggest irony of the situation is that Phyllis's determination to expose Adam could lead to the most dramatic challenge her already troubled marriage has ever seen. The challenge: The discovery that Sharon and Nick's child is still alive. "Phyllis is only trying to bring Adam down. She's not out to save Sharon's baby," explains Case. "She doesn't even know Sharon's baby exists!"

Sharon Case says that she has really enjoyed working with Michael Muhney and she hopes to continue working with him in the future. "This has been a fun wave to ride with him and I would like it to keep going in some shape or form..."

BE SURE TO TUNE IN ON MARCH 9TH FOR THE CAN'T-MISS MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING TO SEE!

Thanks Kenny!

Lauren and Paul's X-Rated Adventure!

Paul and Lauren find themselves in an incriminating position this week after Daisy spikes Lauren's water with liquid Ecstasy.

It all starts when Paul gets sloshed and goes to Jimmy's bar. He is under the influence of alcohol and his defenses are down, and that's when he bumps into Lauren. He's frustrated about the situation with his sister and he doesn't realize that Lauren has been drugged. Lauren offers him a supportive shoulder to cry on -- and later she gives him a friendly smooch.

The smooth, of course, is photographed by the dastardly Daisy. (Uh-oh!)

The next morning, Lauren wakes up with a hangover and a terrible headache. Slowly, she begins to remember what happened the previous night. "She's confused," explains Bregman. "She doesn't understand how she got there in the first place, and she doesn't understand how she could've turned to Paul."

Later, Lauren and Paul have a little chat. Lauren's friendship with Paul is very special and she wants to make sure that the events from the night before won't jeopardize that. They both agree not to tell anyone what happened between them, but they have no clue that Daisy has photos of their kiss.

Even after her talk with Paul, Lauren has no clue that Daisy was the one who drugged her. In Lauren's eyes, Daisy is still a sweet, innocent girl. However, she is suspicious about her connection to Ryder. Teases Bregman, "Speaking of that connection and the twists involved, it's going to be fun. We were all stunned when we heard it. The audience is going to flip. It's so wild."

Cane Deported?!

Cane learns that he's in danger of being deported back to Australia this week.

The US government doesn't like that he has been living in America under Phillip's social security number. In other words, he's an illegal alien. In fact, his marriage to Lily might not even be legal because he married her using Phillip's SSN.

Meanwhile, Lily has a cancer scare while Cane is at the deportation office and she decides to have a PET scan. As Lily worries that she might be forced to deal with her illness without her husband, a flow of loved ones stop by to visit Cane before he is deported. (Amber, Chloe, Jill, Katherine, Neil, Malcolm and Daniel.) Daniel Goddard says "it's as if Cane is on his death bed." Jill's visit is especially sweet as she and Cane are able to smooth over the rift that was caused by Tucker. "It's very sweet," says Goddard. Cane tells Jill that he loves her very much and she is moved by his words.

Later in the week, Lily tells Cane that she wants to move to Australia with him, but Cane tells her it's impossible for many reasons. Her family and her doctors are all in Genoa City, not to mention Mac, who is carrying their babies.

Cane tells Lily that he will go back to Australia and try his best to return to Genoa City legally. If that doesn't work, they'll move to France. Lily suggests that they just stay in Australia, but Cane explains that Australia is a dangerous place for him to live because so many people are after him.

No matter what, Cane isn't planning to leave America if the results of Lily's PET scan shows that her cancer has returned. Cane tells Jill that he'll find a way to escape if his wife is unhealthy, which floors her. Jill's reaction is, "Oh my God. You can't do that. You're crazy!"

Lily overhears her husband's admission and begs him to promise that he won't do anything stupid. Cane tells her that he can't promise anything. Says Goddard, "Cane isn't sure what he's going to do if [they find out that] Lily isn't healthy. He tells her, 'I would rather live on the run and be able to make sure you're okay than be in Australia not knowing if you're alright.'"

Unfortunately for Cane, that choice might not be his to make...

Jack's Surprising Ally

The last time Jack and Victor formed an unholy alliance, Victor stabbed him in the back by stealing Jabot. This week, Victor once again goes to his biggest rival for help in taking care of Adam, whose crimes against Ashley and Sharon are finally being discovered.

The fact that Victor would even go to Jack shows how much he wants to make Adam pay, and the fact that Jack would listen to him is huge. However, can Jack trust Victor after the shenanigans he pulled to get Jabot? "Jack enters this suspiciously," says Peter Bergman. "But I think Victor and Jack know each other well enough. They have a common enemy, so both men put their guard down in order to accomplish this task together."

Together, Victor and Jack begin working on a plan to take care of Adam. "Things come to a head," teases Bergman. "I think the viewers will enjoy [what's coming up]. Where things go... it's pretty exciting stuff."

thanks Kenny

Source: Riegel didn't want to play Bianca, recast coming
Posted Friday, March 05, 2010 2:35:20 PM
by Dan J Kroll and Liz Masters

Eden Riegel's decision to join the cast of The Young and the Restless has sent shockwaves through the daytime community. Now, as fans try to figure out their next move, ABC is apparently hard at work trying to find a new actress to play the role of Erica Kane's daughter. The network wanted the Emmy winner to return, but their offer was rejected.

Fans still reeling from the news that Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca Montgomery) has jumped ship to rival soap, The Young and the Restless, will have to brace themselves for even more shocking news. Riegel, soapcentral.com has learned, apparently rejected an offer to return to the ABC soap -- and now All My Children is moving forward with plans to recast Bianca.

According to a setside source, and as previously reported by soapcentral.com, ABC did reach out to Riegel with an offer to return to All My Children. While the actress' tweet last November seemed to put the blame for things falling through on the network, that appears not to be the case.

"ABC absolutely wanted Eden Riegel back, and they even went as far as to make her an offer," the source tells soapcentral.com. "She made it clear that she [no longer] wanted to play the role of Bianca."

Riegel appeared as a contract player on All My Children from July 2000 through February 2005. In 2005, Riegel won a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actress. Even after departing All My Children in 2005, Riegel remained a visible member of the cast. The actress returned to the show on nearly half-a-dozen different occasions to participate in short-term storylines. It is unclear why Riegel would want to walk away from a character that she helped transform into a household name.

In her Twitter message last fall, Riegel said simply, "Looks like it isn't going to work out for me going back to AMC when they move out to LA. I'm very sad..."

Riegel's new gig at The Young and the Restless begins next week. She will take over the role of Heather Stevens, currently being played by Emmy-nominated actress Vail Bloom. In a related story, Bloom had reportedly not yet been told that she was being replaced when the news of Riegel's signing first broke.

Meanwhile, All My Children has decided that Bianca is too important to future story to simply disappear. The show will recast Bianca at a later date, though no timetable has yet been set.

"Erica will not be without her children for too long," the source adds.

An All My Children spokesperson had no comment on plans to recast Bianca. Riegel's agent did not immediately return calls asking for a statement.
