My granddaughter is also allergic to the sulphur drugs.....but remember that some antibiotics are rough on their little bellies and need some food to cushion the blow of the harshness. .......keep us updated....hugs

More prayers here. DD#1 had reflux as well. At age 2 1/2 she was tested and her condition was rated a 3, almost a 4, with 1 being the least and 5 being the worst. We kept her on antibiotics for a year (a blissful year without ear infections!) and had her retested, and it was down to a 1! We never got her tested after that and she is 12 with no problems. They were saying if she didn't improve she might have needed surgery,but she grew out of it.

Cati, tried to pm you buy your box is full.

Just a quick note I thought of when I was reading about your daughter. My son was on IV anitbiotics for 2 months (bad pneumonia) and the docs told me to feed him lots of yogurt becasue of the antibiotics can cause yeast infections and yogurt helps with that. I guess the best kind is the uncultured (i think) but he would only eat gogurts and yogurt drinks. Just a thought. You may want to consult your doc though. Good luck . Hope this clears it up. Pam
