Hi Folks,

I am taking my girlfriend to Disneyland Paris from Sunday 22nd December to Thursday 26th and so will be there for Christmas.

We are staying 1 mile from the parks and having never been to Disneyland Paris before, we wondered what we can expect from the Christmas experience? Has anyone done it before?

Also, and this is a really difficult one I'm guessing, but we are both vegan. I don't mind cooking in our small apartment on Christmas Day but I'd rather eat somewhere. Is there anywhere near Disneyland Paris that anyone would suggest that may have a vegan option? I appreciate the parks will be difficult and I'm prepared to eat a lot of chips, but obviously for Xmas day at least, I'd like to find something.

Any general thoughts and advice would be really welcome.

Thank you in advance. :hyper:

Xmas in DLP is lovely - you can be as traditional as you like or just soak up the Disney atmosphere.

As vegans you will need to be on your toes with food in Disney - fish is marked vegetarian for example. However, they do make an attempt to provide vegetarian options even in their counter service - I'm hesitant to suggest which might suit you as I may be unaware of ingredients that would make apparently vegan options unsuitable.

I think your best option in the parks would be Agrabah Cafe - if you want to eat there on Xmas Day I would advise that you book. The big festive meal in France is Xmas Eve which costs more and is supposed to include extras (we paid for this and enjoyed it, but didn't notice much worth paying extra for).

Val d'Europe shopping centre gives a couple of options in their food court - Noura, the Lebanese place (it's similar to Agrabah) and Paradis de Fruit (sic). I haven't eaten in either so can't comment on quality etc.

I searched DIS for you under vegan: http://www.disboards.com/search.php?searchid=41259236 - not too many hits sorry.

Do a google search "vegan Disneyland Paris" - there are a few blogs and tripadvisor reports that may provide insight.

www.dlpfoodguide.com gives menus but I'm not sure how up-to-date they are, although they may give you some idea of what's available.

Hope you have a fabulous time.
