XBox 360 Deals

Any good deals out there. My son asked for it for Christmas. He said he doesn't want the new Xbox One.

I got one for $100 on Black Friday at Walmart but I've decided to sell it. I'd check Craigslist in case other people are doing the same thing.

OP, I'm looking for a deal on one of two bundles and I am completely unimpressed with the current prices. I'm checking daily and giving it a couple of weeks before I start to panic. I googled and found some great deals from the end of Oct to the middle of Nov. Too bad I didn't know I needed on then.

Doing a real quick search, the prices right now are unimpressive. Before you buy, you really need to try and figure what what he's planning on doing with the system.

1) Small or Big hard drive. The 4gb version will work only if you're planning on only playing games on disk. If you want to download games you'll probably want a 250gb or bigger model or plan on buying a hard drive for the 4gb model down the road.

2)Kinect or not. Kinect is the camera that allows you to control certain games with your body.

3) What games does he want to play. He said he wanted an Xbox 360 but depending on the games he wants to play he may prefer a PS3. Most 3rd party game play on either system. But each system has its own list of exclusive titles.

4) Online Play. If he wants to play online, you'll need to buy an Xbox Live Gold membership. Depending on the bundle you may get a small amount of time free.

I'm guessing there will be at least one more round of sales on Video Game systems and games before Christmas. From what I understand Black Friday Weekend sales weren't as strong as they had hoped.

OR if you don't mind buying used you can do like I did for my son. I checked Craigslist and found a 250GB xbox 360 with Kinect and 28 games for $300. Can't beat the price. It came with $1100 worth of games.

There are great deals to be had on used ones now that the new ones have come out ppl are getting rid of the 360's and 360 games.

On Black Friday I bought an xbox 360 250g with 4 games for $201 and that included tax. My S thought that was a good deal. It did not have the kinnect and we are buying that separately.

Just saw that Amazon has the XBOX One in stock $499 now. Hope it helps.

I ordered it from Best Buy online for 179.00 xbox 360 250mb with 4 games. keep checking around you never know when deals will show up.
