Does anyone have any info on this timeshare? Possibility of picking up at a reasonable price, but know nothing about it. Owner doesn't seem to know much either. Any help would greatly appreciated. Oh, Dean.....

Go to the tugs website.....

http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/

You will get a great deal of info there, they have a wyndham category, check out the sticky first. We just bought in resale and waiting for wyndham to get us in their system. I like the flexiblity of the pts but have not started using the TS yet so not more info I can provide.

Do your due diligence to find where the market is---Wyndham resale is extremely cheap, and most owners have no idea just how much value they've lost once they pass the rescission point.

So, before you jump at that "reasonable price", make sure it's consistent with the market.

Oh yes!!!! good point, we picked up our pts for a silly low price got like a total of 290K for between $800-1200 total. Look resale and find good deals. I assumed you are not buying from developer.

In addition to price, be sure to reserch owner satisfaction. Among the big 4 (Disney,Hilton,Marriott, and Wyndham), They had by far the highest number of complaints lodged with state government entities that oversee timeshares. (this was from a Wallstreet Journal article from about a year ago).

This might be related to unethical sales tactics that would not affect you as a resale buyer, but It can never hurt to do a little digging to see if current owners are happy with service and upkeep.

Good luck
