Does anyone know if you have to pay to park at the Wyndham Palace if you are a guest??

No, if you self park, you don't have to pay to park yourself.

Be prepared for pushy parking attendants and bellboys when you pull up. $9 to valet park.
Best place to park is in the Alamo rental & Spa parking lot. Veer to the right after turning in to the main entrance. There are regular spaces there too. You can walk in the 1st floor door by the Spa and shops with easy access to elevators. This is where the buses run also. Check-in is on the 3rd floor.
