I recently booked the Wyndham Palms with the Hotelkingdom rate of $80 for a 2-bdrm. I had read terrific reviews on this board. I just read the Trip Advisor reviews and they are not glowing. My kids really wanted to stay onsite but I could not pass up the great rate. Did I mess up? I'm really worried now.:worried:

you absolutely did NOT mess up. your kids will appreciate not having to be on top of one another in a small hotel room onsite & have their own bathroom! They will have all day to spend with Mickey & Minnie in the parks & will be able to spread out from one another in the evenings to wind down. Also they will probably get a kick out of the big screen tv if you dont already have one at home. how old are the kids?

See if they will put you in a building near a pool. It seems to make a lot of difference in how pleasant your stay is.

Your kids will have a blast there! They give you a list of children's activities and the free bbq is on fridays by the pool.

They will especially love the whirlpool in the room. I felt like I was in a house there was so much room, I couldn't believe that it was a villa.

The kids will really like the big screen tv and you'll get that big balcony to sit on and relax.

You'll have a good time, don't worry about it!

:)

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope we'll like it. We usually have to get two rooms on-site, or just about anywhere we go. After a long day of fun we definitely need room to unwind and not be tripping over each other.

We usually stay onsite, but this was an unplanned and therefore unbudgeted trip so we're trying offsite 11/1 - 11/7.

I have three kids, ds-13, ds9 & dd9 (is there such a thing as dt-disney twins?)
