Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive

Has anyone ever stayed at this resort?? I booked it as a last minute trip through site 59, but now I am reading horrible reviews about it. I am not a picky person, but I can't stand it when my room smells musty and dirty. I also read that it is very noisy due to the traffic on International. I am thinking of booking a back up either at Residence suites by Sea World or Radisson Resort Parkway. We have no kids and will be spending most of our time at Unviersal and Sea World.

I don't know what to do! Please help with an opinion if you have stayed here!!

I had to track you down and reply to this post as well as the one on the other board -

DON'T DO IT! We were there the first 3 days in March and it was awful! The grounds are nice, but the rooms smelled of mildew with a top note of pine scent, the ceilings had water stains, the carpets were worn, the bedspreads stained, the mattress had a big saggy hole in the middle - and this was in the "Better" room that we were moved to after the first one was even worse. YUCK!

Thank you SO MUCH for replying!! It sounds like this place would have ruined our whole trip!!! I was lucky enough to find a great rate at Royal Pacific in Universal and I held the ressie just in case. I am TOTALLY going to stay at Royal Pacific instead now. I am wasting money but that does not matter if I will be coming home to a place where I am not afraid to take a bath or go to bed!

I can't thank you enough! I will post a trip report when I get back!
