Hi! New here and planning a vacation, 7-9 nights, sometime in 2022 with my family of six (kids are 6 & under). I've been eyeing the Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek resort to save $ by staying off-site and had some questions if any of you have stayed here!

1) Looking at maybe the double Queen room, (youngest two sleep in pack n plays). Would you recommend this set up for a family our size? I see some with bunk beds too.

2) Which tower do you recommend staying in? The resort looks huge!

3) Do you recommend booking directly on the resorts website? Or are there better prices elsewhere?

4) Lastly, is there a hotel or resort you have also stayed in, and preferred to the Wyndham Grand Orlando BC?

Thanks so much!!

Only one of the buildings is the Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek, which is the hotel. The other towers are for Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, which is a timeshare resort. They use the same facilities (pools, etc.). It is possible to stay at the timeshare resort without buying a timeshare. The accommodations would be different. If interested in the timeshare as an alternative, I suggest reading Post 1 of the "We looooooove Bonnet Creek" thread in this forum and asking questions there.

Thank you for clarifying! Is it typically cheaper to stay in a timeshare unit rather than in the actual hotel? I'll go check out the board too.

There are pros and cons to renting a timeshare as opposed to a hotel room. Which is cheaper could depend on whether you decide you need a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom timeshare. I'll let you do the comparisons. I'd say the timeshare rental would get you more for your money even if it cost a bit more.

One important consideration: a timeshare rental is often non-refundable. Check the cancellation policy before renting. On the other hand, some of the cheapest hotel discounts are often non-refundable too.

For a family of six I would go with Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, the timeshare side. You can get a 2-bedroom unit with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. There is a huge we looooove bonnet creek thread on here with tons of info about the resort and discussion about how to rent a unit.

When it comes to being location, space, amenities and bang for the buck it's hard to beat WBC.

However, there are many timeshare properties around the area that can be rented, often at discount to staying in a hotel. Right now the market is soft for rentals, so lots of good deals are out there.

When you rent you don't have to go to a timeshare presentation and I would urge you not to.

For a family of your size, learning how to pick up timeshare rentals will save you a bundle and give you space a hotel user can only dream of.

This is great advice. I'll be checking out those rentals. I appreciate everyone's expertise on here so much! Thank you!

WBC Grand Hotel = resort fee which includes shuttles to parks PLUS a parking fee. Be sure to add those.

WBC Resort = free parking and a fee based shuttle. But with 6 of you and littles, I would drive to parks and pay the parking fee, it would cost less and more convenient.

We love the WBC Resort, most relaxing place with all the space, kitchen, laundry and resort amenities plus location.
