So I read on the DISboards about how people get great deals at Wyndham Bonnet Creek (1 week for $800-900). How do you do that? Is there a rental board for that? Is it also a timeshare? Because I've looked online and can't find anything.

There is a huge thread on the Orlando Attractions forum on the disboards that has tons of info.

To get that price you have to rent from a timeshare owner. You can do that through Vacation Upgrades, Vacation Strategies, or Ebay (and probably more sites than that).

We stayed there in 2010--it's a really nice resort!

We used eBay in November. We had a 2 bedroom at BC for a week for $500. We loved it there!

Check the forums at tugbbs.com and at redweek.com. They aren't specific to Wyndham at Bonnet Creek. It's more of a general discussion of renting timeshare weeks but you should be able to find the information that you're looking for on those websites.

My friend owns at Wyndham and she got a great preview deal although I think she had to stay elsewhere, maybe a Holiday Inn. It didn't make sense to me. She loves it though.

I just paid our deposit for December at Bonnet Creek. 7 nights for $625 including all taxes and fees. I agree with PP, check out the Orlando Resorts board and you will find TONS of info!

One thing. Do not rent directly from Wyndham. You'll probably pay twice as much .

Thanks so much. I remember looking on Wyndham's website and thinking, how do these people get these great deals?!

We arrive in 13 days. I booked 10 nights for $1057(total including all taxes and fees) thru Vacationstrategy.com get a quote from them. I researched and researched and they had the best rate I could find. They have been great to deal with. This will be out first stay offsite. I cant wait to get there :)

The best thing I found is Skyauction.com. I have gotten a 2bd for a week for under $500 and a 1 bd for a week for under $400! It is a great budget way to go.

We rented through Vacation Upgrades after we found them here in the Dis. We really loved Bonnet Creek- it was beautiful. My kids thought it was awesome- they can't wait to stay there again someday.

Is this considered inside disney? I don't think it is a disney resort. Do you have transportation to the parks?

My understanding is that they are on Disney property but not owned by Disney, and that they have a free shuttle to the parks with more limited service than the Disney-owned properties.
