What do I do?

I need to book an extra 3 nights and the choice is between these two.

Are they in different locations?

I know I can look online but I wanted you guys opinion.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek sort of surrounds the Wyndham Grand Orlando. This is a map that tiggerfied posted on the Wyndham Bonnet Creek pictures thread.

The Wyndham Grand Orlando is a traditional hotel, whereas the Wyndham Bonnet Creek is a timeshare property. Both are great options, and they share facilities. I guess the question is would you rather stay in a hotel room or a condo?

Thank you @mar21

That is actually the info I was looking for i.e if they shared facilities. Wyndham grand was coming out cheaper but I really wanted the lazy river option ( weather depending in November )

Anyway I booked Wyndham bc not grand.

Really looking forward to having a ' relaxing ' couple of days before we fly home.

I booked brought Expedia...is there any way I can request a particular building?

No problem! I recently had to weigh the pros and cons between the timeshare or the hotel. We went with BC as well for the extra space. I've heard that you can only request a building at check in :(

You could always call them and ask, though. The worst thing that could happen is they say no requests.

Enjoy your vacation:)

So many choices

I felt under pressure as I was looking on Expedia and a few other sites they kept saying ' only 3 more rooms left at this rate ' blah, blah. I know they probably put that deliberatly to ensure you panic book.

Just a note if anyone is booking WBC it's probably cheaper to use a site like Ken's at http://vacationupgrades.com/pricing.html rather than sites like Expedia.
Our dates in Oct for 6 nights are showing on Expedia at £1,455 for a 2 bed deluxe, Ken's price at 60 days out would be £560 almost a third of the price.

I vote for booking with Ken Price at Vacation Upgrades. You can see from my signature how many times I have been and always booked with Ken. Never a single issue. Going again in August for 22 nights. It's a great resort, you will love it. I'm glad to see there is more interest in BC. Never hear any other English accents when I am there.

I wish I would of seen the vacation upgrades site before booking  Oh well, we live and learn. On our next trip I will look at booking with Ken.

I only heard of BC cause of your TR, it sounded lovely! I cannot wait to stay there, albeit only for 3 nights. I can see It becoming our new ' home ' In previous years we have stayed at the same condo, style place for our last 3 trips, not too far from DW but this looks like a newer complex.

Can't wait to have a bit of down time before coming home :)

I am also interested in WBC - does anyone how likely is it that Vacation Upgrades would have rooms at 60 days out in August?

Thanks!

That's great - thanks! We are looking for August 6th to 20th, but even the second week at the reduced rate would make a difference. I would love a 2 bed given my sons are 12 and 15 but the current price is high for our budget.

I have booked 7th to 29th with him. As we go for so long I can't take a chance of not getting booked. Bonnet Creek is a big part of the holiday for us and really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Glad to hear you like it so much - this will be our first time staying there so we are looking forward to it!
