WWYD - what to buy at Penneys?

Ok, for some reason, I got mailings w/ TWO $10 shopping coupons from Penneys that expire on 12/24. The ones that take $10 off any purchase of $10 or more. So feeling like I hit the mini lottery, I'm not sure what to spend them on. I realize they will need to be 2 separate purchases.

What do you spend yours on? What would you buy?

Wow, you got lucky! I usually get those coupons, but this time around they sent me $10 off $25...no thanks!!

I don't know if you have kids or not, but I usually get DD several clothing items for under $1 total with these coupons. I shop the clearance there and I can find clothes for such cheap prices. I use these cheapo clothes as play clothes. If they get ruined, I don't care because I paid 5 cents for them

My DH and I just went to Penney's last night with two coupons. He got a pair of Khakis that were on sale for $20, $10 after coupon. I got a photo album gift set for my parents that was on sale for $10, my cost zero.

Tons of stuff on sale including lots of Dockers gifts for men.

When I get those, that is when I buy myself something. A new shirt or sweater. It's nice to get a bargain for myself sometimes, instead of always thinking of everyone else.

Penneys sent me one of those $10 off a $10 purchase coupons. I bought a pair of slippers for my DBF. If you can't think of anything.... go buy a few pairs of socks... everyone always needs socks..... (for yourself.. not for a gift... I'd frown if I got socks for Christmas).

I like Penney's menswear. Usually buy DH sox or underwear with those coupons.

When I went shopping, Penney's had sterling silver jewelry 60% off with an extra 10% off. I used my coupon to buy my 2 godchildren pretty cross necklaces. They were normally $28 each and with the sale and the coupons (I used my mom's too) I paid .09 each!

I saw a customer buy a 6 pack of granny panties with her coupon.

I used mine toward a cheap watch, which I gifted to myself.

That is too funny. I always stock up on socks with those coupons! This year they had women's socks buy one set for $9.99 get the second for $1 so I got 10 pairs of socks for .99 as there is no tax on clothes in MN.

I don't know, I don't like JCPenney and I don't quite get why they send me these coupons because the only time I shop there is when I get one of them.

As a reward for using coupons all year I treat MYSELF and head straight for the jewelry department and go all crazy!! OK as crazy as $10 worth of clearance priced jewelry will buy me!!

This year I got the buy $25 worth of merchandise and get $10 off coupon. Unfortunately I won't be getting back to JCP before it expires. Oh, well.

I got two as well! I used one on a Nike sweatshirt that my DSIL wanted for Christmas. I used the other to buy a Disney Princess jewelry box (on sale for 9.99) for DD4 to take to a birthday party.

This is sooo funny. DF's Mom called me a while back trying to figure out what to get him for Christmas. She asked if he needed socks and underwear. I told her not to buy the poor man socks and underwear for Christmas!!!! It's such a let down. He deserves fun stuff at Christmas too! I sent her to Walmart (one of the only places she shops) to get him a DS. She suceeded and is soooo proud, she can't wait to give it to him.

I got the coupons too. I'll prolly use at least one on a gift (a top or something) for my future grandmother-in-law (whew, that's a mouthfull!)

I usually use mine towards new underwear or socks for myself or DD, but this time I used them to buy two black hoodies to donate to our local teen homeless shelter -- $36 each reg. price, $17.99 each on sale, only $7.99 each net cost to me to donate. I feel like I'm helping Penney's with their community giving

I used mine on clothes for the kids. With each coupon I bought two shirts and a pair of pants and I only $1.33 on each transaction. At the rate my kids go through clothes, I thought it was a wise way to use my coupons!

By the time I get these I am done christmas shopping so I buy for me. This year I got me some cuddle dudds pajamas, so comfy for 10.00. The next day I got another coupon and my DD12 informs me she wanted to get some friends a gift, so since I like her friends we went and got 5 pair of those indoor soft socks. They all loved them, I only spent 10.00 on 5 pair regular 8.00 each. So I'm happy.
