Hello Dis Masters,

Posed with the following split stay choices with differing room types, which would you choose and why?

3 Nights at BC Standard Room - Garden View
4 Nights at Poly Club Level - Garden View

or

3 Nights at BC Standard Room - Water View
4 Nights at Poly Club Level - Theme Park View

It's not a whole lot more for the bottom choice, hence me being undecided. We'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary and will be with our 4 year old kiddo.

Thanks in advance. All points of view are warmly welcome. :goodvibes

2nd choice, hands down! Why? BC water view could be of SAB or Boardwalk---either way, FABULOUS! And a theme park view from the Poly? Aaaah, magic!

Have a great time and I say, splurge, and don't look back!:wizard:

I vote for 2nd choice as well :). I say splurge and go with the CL TPV for your anniversary :goodvibes.

2nd choice. Garden view club level is nice----but theme park club level is outstanding!

If you plan to spend more time at the Magic Kingdom go with the Polynesian no matter which room category you want. However if you plan to spend more time at Epcot and Hollywood Studios, then go with the Beach Club and once again no matter the room category you want.

We only stay at BCV so I can't speak for views at BC, but for me personally I would go with saving the money there vs the view. As to the Polynesian - few things in the world are nicer than laying on your bed gazing at the castle. I'm not sure I'd pay the money to stay at Poly unless I had a MK view.

When doing a split stay the one thing I always found helpful was where we stayed - always book the "nicer" level at the end. Much easier to upgrade than the other way around :thumbsup2

Thanks to everyone for the opinions. Much appreciated. :goodvibes

The reason we were thinking about a split stay is we really liked the feel of BC when we went for breakfast there last year (when we were staying at the Poly). But, we also really enjoyed our time there at the Poly. The BC really appealed because of the walk over to Epcot. The Poly appeals because of its close proximity. I've heard such great things about BC and we enjoy the Poly; so because of this indecision, we thought we'd try having both in one stay.

We'd be doing park hoppers. Ultimately, we'd do our Epcot excursions in the beginning (staying @ the BC) and would save MK until the end of the trip (staying @ the Poly). Though with the Park Hoppers I guess we could switch it up if we wanted.

The room categories are what really made me undecided. (The other option which I ruled out was doing BC Garden View (standard room) and Poly Garden View (CL).) I believe we'll probably go with Option 2: BC Water View and Poly TPV CL. It'll be our 10th anniversary celebration so what the he--y, right?

Melissa: Re: Saving the best for last! Exactly what I was thinking with saving CL with the amazing view room for last.

Another thanks due!

Both to my hubby and for everyone who posted, sharing their thoughts -- we booked "Option 2" yesterday evening. So excited I can't stand it. :woohoo:

Now over to the Dining board to figure out what we should book for ADRs.
