I sold one of my diaper bags (a ju-ju-be) on FB in a group that was specifically for buying/selling/trading this brand of diaper bags.
I listed it in EUC, noting that there was some normal wear marks on the bottom of the bag from where it got sat on the floor. Asked half of what I bought it for. I sent detailed pictures to the interested buyer, including pics of the wear marks on the bottom corners of the bag.
As I was going through it a final time before I packed it up, I noticed there were some red marks on the inside of one of the compartments. I told the buyer about this and took pictures for her. She asked if I thought all the signs of wear would wash out & I said that I didn't know, but guessed that they would since the bags have always washed up so well for me. I also used a Tide stain pen on a couple of the red spots and after just a couple dabs, they started to come up nicely.
But I told her that if she was overly concerned about it, I would refund her her money less shipping if she was unsatisifed after it arrived.
I got an email from her yesterday saying that the bag arrived and none of the marks came off in the wash and she wanted me to refund her $10 because of this.
WWYD? I'm tempted to say no... I sold her the bag as used & gave pictures of all of the areas that were not in perfect condition. I'm also skeptical about her efforts to wash it because, like I said, all I did was use a Tide To Go pen and it started to come up.
Naturally, if she wants to return it, I'll definitely honor that... I've already had a couple other emails from people who were interested.
