One last thing, and then I think I'll give it a rest for today-

How many of you ladies that are mothers in law have been purposefully:

1. Cruel

2. Toxic

3. Controlling

4. Inappropriate

5. Disrespectful

to you, daughters in law?

How many of you on here have behaved that way on purpose to other women?

Not many of you, I bet, would say you're like that.

But somehow the world is infested with these "other" women that behave like this.

How is that?

Is it possible that maybe if we understood them better, then the behaviors that we define in the manner above would become understandable, and once understood, either no longer fit the definition, or if they do fit, we can begin to defuse them because we understand them, and we can react with empathy instead of punitive anger.

Because, this poster sees only their view (assumptions and all) and simply did NOT do what she is accusing Cathy of not doing.... HAVING A RATIONAL AND CALM AND POSITIVE DIALOGUE TO SOLVE ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
