We (myself and two DDs, 15 and 10) visited WDW in August 2022. We have another short trip coming up in April 2023. Originally, we were going to do two park days, at Epcot and Animal Kingdom. But now Tron will be open when we go.
I went ahead and purchased a three-day ticket because I can't help myself. But when to use our third day?
We arrive on a Wednesday, at MCO if we are lucky by noon. Assume we Lyft our way to the Polynesian. Again, if lucky, we might get to MK by 2 PM. With evening plans in place, we might get three hours at MK total.
Thursday we will be offsite.
Friday is our Epcot day. Saturday is our Animal Kingdom day. Saturday night, we're staying at Old Key West.
Sunday is our departure day - flight leaves MCO at 4:00.
Is it more realisitic to visit MK on Sunday? We are rope droppers, so there's that. And I realize there's no guarantee we'll even be able to ride Tron. Overall, we'll probably have more time. Although we'd probably have to leave the park by lunch anyway to get back to OKW and Lyft back to MCO.
The thought of feeling so stressed on Sunday has crossed my mind. Is there a more appealing scenario I'm not giving thought to?
