Correct - the assumptions here are the people have not met in person (even if they've talked, FaceTimed, what have you). We can also assume, however, that this is not a situation where one person assumes this is a date while the other person assumes it's just a couple of people hanging out for lack of anything better to do. Most of us have no desire to experience that stomach drop sensation as we ride the Friendship Zone Tower of Uncertainty.

If you've talked a good bit, facetimed to know they are know they claim to be, and you enjoy each other, you should be ok, especially because there doesn't seem to be uncertainly regarding the terms of the meeting - if its a date or not. Chemistry is unknowable to an existent, but at some point, its degrees of attraction.

I agree, Epcot, dinner, dessert, Illuminations. And then a slow walk out of the park, discussing the day/evening, listening to Tapestry of Nations on the way out.

I leave this thread for an evening and the next thing I know I have a lime green bikini-clad entourage who have banded together to secretly follow me around the park while filming a reality show. This is why we can't have nice things, people. At least I'll hope that some of you may have earpieces so you can feed me pointers ala Cyrano de Bergerac and point out helpful things like "compliment her dress" or "suggest a dole whip" or "you forgot to wear pants".

Excellent suggestions on the thread. Someone asked earlier about my thoughts. I can see a couple of possibilities I'd suggest:

-Evening date: pick her up at her resort, cocktails and dinner at Bluezoo, head over to EPCOT to wander F&W for dessert, Illuminations and then grab a glass of wine

-Daytime date: meet at MK for a PPO light breakfast and coffee at BOG, hit a number of rides and attractions through the morning (7DMT, PP, IASW (since that's been established as a deal breaker), HM, POTC etc), and then hop over to EPCOT for a F&W lunch and drinks. Agreed beforehand that we'll break off around 1 pm or 2 pm - although if everything goes great then we'll make plans for that evening over lunch.

Just so there's no scrambling and to avoid safety issues, I'll be sure to request 2 Minnie vans or Ubers as we move around property - one for us and one for the entourage. And if I may make a humble suggestion: have you all considered live streaming this?

The pants bit seems key. I'm sure they'll get you into the parks in just underclothes as we hear on this board all the time about how inappropriately others dress. Bluezoo is a bit more discerning about its patrons and will probably make you go to the lobby gift shop and buy some pants - do you know how pricey those are for 3 seasons ago Tommy Bahama? Not that I have any reason to know the offerings of the Dolphin gift shop

Wait until the people who run this board pick up that you picked up a woman (your pronoun use gave you away) on the Disboards, they will be live streaming it, setting up a Q&A, programming a Tinder/Dis app with lots of swiping, instead of searching by politics or education compatibility it'll match people by favorite park, least favorite restaurant, etc. I bet you don't even know her real life basics, because who needs that stuff if you share a love of the Jungle Cruise?
