Lucky for me, I am very good friends with dd's bff's mother. Her dd tells her EVERYTHING! She runs with a very benigh crowd, but according to my friend, they all curse like crazy when they're together! I've never heard a curse word come out of dd's mouth, ever. My friend's dd gets teased because she won't curse, and her mom actually told her to throw some out, just to fit in (she felt like she was being eased out of the group). I really don't care how dd talks in from of her peers, but she's in trouble if I hear she talked like a sailor in front of adults.
She's also had some friends that I wasn't fond of, for various reasons, but I've never forbidden a friendship - trust me, she'll learn on her own.
