WW Weekly Weigh-in

Just had WI and I'm down 4.2 lbs. I'm pretty sure most of it is the water weight I was retaining from TOM since I was only down .6 last week.

Today is DH's b-day and he is waffling on where he wants to go for lunch and dinner which is just irritating me beyond belief. But, I can't be mad at him since it's his birthday although I might if he keeps insisting on having chili dogs for lunch or dinner or both!

Happy losing to everyone!!

Well I went and joined an actual meeting (in addition to doing WW online), so I weighed in early this week and I'm the same (which is good considering the week I had  ).

I'm up .2 lbs this week. I guess it's not too bad considering I had a bad week points wise.

Hey everyone! :)

Weigh-in was today, and I'm down 1.6. Not too bad for having such a rough week. Hopefully I'll have more time to post soon, but today I must be brief.

Congrats to all the losers! :goodvibes:

Had my WI yesterday and I was down 3 pounds! My total is now 22.8, which is sooooo thrilling!! My goal of 50 lbs. by our January DW trip seems attainable. I will be so much more comfortable walking around the world 50 lbs. lighter!! I carried a 50 lb. bag of sand to my girls sandbox last week, and I couldn't believe how heavy it felt!! Can't wait!! It is so inspiring to see everyone's posts on their WI"s. Of course it is great to see the losses, but when you see a gain, and hear the optimism that is still there, it is really inspiring. Love this thread!

Down a pound this week on maintenance. :confused3 It'll probably come back next week.

Have a great week one and all!!! :cheer2: :sunny:

OK....
back in march of 2003, I joined ww for the first time... i was amazed that losing weight could be so easy! And could actually be done!
I continually lost, and in january, figured I could do it on my own.... I was wrong...
a little over a yr later, I realized that though I had not gained any weight, I was not losing either! Time to start counting points again!
I got serious about it the end of this past march 05... and since then, i have lost 10.4 lbs...
This weeks weigh in I was down 1.4! Yeah!!!
The encouraging stories from this board are great!
I weigh myself every day, ( I know, a big no no!) but I have been noticing that on sunday mornings, my weight is down quite a bit, but by monday weigh in, i am up another 1-2 lbs.... strange... thought about changing my weigh in to sunday am, but then when i go up the 1-2 it would show in the next weeks weigh in... so i'll stick to monday am's!
Thanks for all the enouraging stories!
I got to change my clippie this am as well! :cheer2:
I figured it was only fair, that I start my clippies where I was starting in march 05, not back to march 03.... But I love the feeling knowing I get to change my clippie!!!!!
Keep up the good work guys!

  Down 2.8 lbs this week!!!! :cool1: Very exciting for me since I have been struggling for almost 4 weeks at the same weight. My body just didn't want to let it go :goodvibes

I've been reading all the posts and everyone is doing so well!

Welcome to the new members & congratulations to all you Losers! :rotfl:

I am going off now to change my weight ticker!!!!

Barbara

Woo Hoo you all ROCK :cool1: :cheer2: What a great bunch of successful LOSERS!!!! :rotfl2:

I lost 2.2 lbs this week. Actually, that is a two week WI because we didn't have WW last week due to a local holiday. But I'll take it!

Sunny

You losers are doing great!! I wish that I was doing as well. I have misplaced my motivation somewhere... Have any of you found it? Why is it sooooo hard to stay motivated when you fall off the wagon. I am going to get out my getting started book and see if I can get started again. Our trip is not until December, so I have plenty of time to get back to my goal weight. But summer is much closer. :sad2:

I found it! I found your motivation, here it is:

Next time you're found with your
chin on the ground
There's a lot to be learned so look around
Just what makes that little ol' ant
Think he'll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant can't
Move a rubber tree plant

But he's got high hopes... he's got high hopes
He's got high apple pie in the sky hopes
So any time you're getting low
'Stead of letting go,
Just remember that ant.
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant.
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant.
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant.

Today WI went way better than expected since TOM arrived yesterday. I lost 2.2 pounds for a total of 53 pounds!!! Next week I hope to be claiming my 55 pound clippie :cool1:

Hiya

I am new on the wish board

I joined ww online in the uk just over two weeks ago, my wi days are mondays, and so far i have lost 20.5 lbs in two weeks (excercise video three times a week plus step lol)

I am slimming to go to florida in september 06

hope i am ok to post on here

Mushumadness - Hi and Welcome!!!

Wow, 20 pounds in 2 weeks is HUGE!!! I'm assuming your drinking TONS of water?? Don't get frustrated if it slows down abit, which it probably will. They say the first couple of weeks you flush alot of water out, but you want to lose about 1 to 2 pounds per week.

Good luck!!!

i drink about 20 glasses of water a day, i cant drink anything else i have some sort of intolerance but hey its working lol

I lost 1.6 this week. I'm down to 143.4!!

I need to work on drinking more water. Today I've only managed 2 cups so far. Not good!

A friend at a ww meeting gave me this tip for getting your water in and it works!
Fill a large glass, mug etc... and use a straw to drink it... the bigger diameter the straw the better!
Tupperware has (well they did last year anyways) a big plastic cup with lid, held about 32 oz or so, had a huge straw... i find i can finish that pretty quick!

Another thing I do, is use "special" glasses or cups... or ones that i really like... especially my disney mugs/glasses!

I have also found that if I get to do something, (silly as it sounds) for each glass i finish, that motivates me... ideas for this would be.... marking them off a list, adding a sticker to a chart for each glass you drink, magnets on the fridge... take them away or add them to it for each glass you drink.

It may sound ********, but when i see a visual, it helps! I make 6-8 little w's (for water) on a 3x5 card each day, and i ck them off, or put a little circle around them, or cover them with a star each time i finish a glass. Helps me see what i have drank, and what I still need to get in!
Hope this helps someone!

Weigh in yesterday, down another 1.2 pounds! (I would have been happy to stay the same, it was not a good choice weekend for me). Anyway, has now brought my total to 25.6 - I've crossed the 25 pound mark, yeah! :cheer2: I had people come up to me at church commenting on the weight loss, it felt so good, got me right back on track!

Keep up the good work everyone! :Pinkbounc
