Aren't those munchies a pain!!! Someone sent me an article in regards to diet and TOM and I thought I would share it here since it is a common complaint with a lot of us.
THREE WAYS TO WORK WITH YOUR HORMONES-NOT AGAINST THEM
1) During the first two weeks of your cycle your ovaries are not producing progesterone, which means your brain is not signaling you to eat more food to prepare for a possible pregnancy. These are the perfect two weeks to eat less without feeling deprived.
2) During the second half of your cycle, increases to your progesterone level stimulate the brain to crave sugar and carbs. So the best timne to train your taste buds to say no is before the progesterone spikes.
3) Exercise more during the second two weeks of your cycle. This will help derail your desire for carbohydrates during the progesterone surge. Keeping your carb intake in check during these 26 weeks of the year can make a significant difference when it comes to weight loss.
Tiggerlover, thanks so much for the tips! I will have to give them a try. I have been doing fairly well this weekend, so hopefully the WW scale will be nice to me this coming week.

I haqve to second Tigger, Mik. Push the water and watch the sodium this week. If this trend continues, your MD may want you on a diuretic.
My Dr. was ecstatic because if I lose one more pound I'll be down 10% of my weight since I was last there in December. He only wants me to lose another 6 lbs, since I'm muscular, but I think it's probably closer to 10-15 that need to go. I'm not obsessed with a particular number, so I'll start 'maintenance' when *I'm* comfortable with myself. I'd really love to be down at least one more size though. (5' 3" and a size 8 right now. Unfortunately, all my weight is in my upper legs and butt)

25 pounds is quite a milestone!!!!!!!
