Mikmah and tiggerlover, you are both so kind and I appreciate it. It is nice to feel so warm and fuzzy when I (we ) are facing such a huge journey.

Suz, I am so happy you feel so good coming here as I feel good being here. Posting here keeps me accountable and feeling good. I appreciate the fact that when I am down I can come here for encouragement and if anything I have learned on my journey helps someone out that is great.

luckywife,   WEIGH TO GO!!!! That is an awesome weekly loss!

Tara, congrats on being down 4 pounds! :cool1: That is fantastic!!! I am a slave to my scale, I weigh every day....it keeps me in check. Keep up the great work!

Weighed in today....lost 2.6 lbs!! Woo hoo! Total 6.2 lbs lost in 2 weeks. I just hope I can keep it up! I have been keeping a brave face on but it really has been hard for me. I feel like I am hungry most of the time. I think it will get easier as time goes on, won't it? I hope so. I really am determined this time to make it happen!!!! :thumbsup2 I CAN DO IT!!!!!

Great job! You must be so pleased with your results so far. I do think some aspects get easier as you go on, the hunger thing goes away once you figure out the right combination of food to satisfy your body. I find when I add a lot of zero point veggies and drink my water that I am more satisfied over all.

:cool1: Down another 2.0 lbs! Total of 5.4 !:cool1:
Now that company and traveling is almost done for right now... not bad. And another bonus... DH lost 9.4bls just eating what Im eating.:lmao:

Congrats to all that are making their goals and those who gained:grouphug: we're all in the same boat paddling for you too!:boat:

Hi!

I just started WW today. I did it in the past and had a lot of success, but then, life happened, as it usually does and I've gained back everything plus a little more fluff with it! I would love to be able to post and have some support and read all the inspirational tales. It seems like everyone has done great.

I need to lose about 60 pounds.....that would get me to my goal weight. I know its going to be a long journey, but I'm ready and hope that the experience will teach me a few things along the way.

Can someone explain to me how this works? Do I just post my weekly weigh in whenever I go or do I have to do it on a certain day?

Have a great Thursday!!!
Amy

Well, I didn't do as well with all of my various functions last week as I would have liked- I gained 2 lbs. I'm trying not to get too upset about it, I know if I can get myself back on track this week those 2 lbs can be gone next week.
Way to go everyone that lost! Keep up the good work!

 First official weigh in this morning and I was down 6.5 pounds!! I'm thrilled.

Congrats to everyone that has been down this week!!!

tara

isyne4u- Awesome loss!!!!!!!:cool1: All that hard work does pay off. Congratulations!!!

KJo719-Good attitude. We all have slips and ups and down, and the beauty of WW is you can do that without feeling guilty, and just get back on track and you will lose it. Good luck.

RT's Mom-:welcome: This is a great thread for inspiration and support. You can post whenever you weighin. I'm a repeat WWer, and am planning to be around a long time too. Good luck.

Bareacuda, Andrea_loves_Disney, luckywife, Congratulations!!!! Awesome losses!!:thumbsup2

Happy friday everyone!!!

Well, WI last night and gained .4 pounds(which the WW leader said is not really a gain, could be water). It is my TOM so it didn't surprise me. The funny thing is that all week, my body fat has gone down 2%. Sometimes it will go down, but then go back up. So, since I am exercising more, think the scale is not showing that I have gained muscle! At least that is what I am hoping is the case!!:wizard: I am due for a loss next week because it seems like when I have a big loss my weight stays the same for about 1 or two weeks than goes down again. So frustrating!!!

I lost again this week. I am down .8 which isn't a lot but at least it's a loss. My total weight loss is 12 pounds. I am just happy I am pass the 10 pound mark. I struggled to get past 10 pounds. I am really going to watch my intake more carefully. I do well if I write everything down. Keep up the good work ladies.

Hi everyone! I am late in posting this week, been super busy with work, home and all that goes with it. Finished my three week Curves study and am excited that in just three weeks I reduced some of my body fat, lost 2-1/2 pounds during the study and lowered my blood pressure to 107/80. I am so thrilled with the results that I have joined for the year. Maybe now I can tone up from the weight I have lost. At weigh in thursday I am still maintaining, three more weeks of maintenance and then I should be able to claim lifetime.

:welcome: RT's Mom! You have come to a great place for support and advice. Hope to see you around often as you make your journey.

Bareacuda, a great BIG CONGRATS to you and DH, great weight loss. Tara, you too......6.5 is awesome!! daisy2, congrats on your loss too, every loss is to be celebrated. :cool1:

{{{{HUGS}}}} KJo719 and Harvest02, gains are always hard for us, no one likes them, but they are tools for learning. If you recognize where you went wrong for the week you can make the next week that much better.

Have a great week everyone!! Onward and downward!!

It sounds like everyone is having a good week!!

Debbie...that is great about Curves!! I did Curves last year and really enjoyed it...but life interfered and I couldn't go as often as I needed so I ended up quitting. I'm just not an exercise person and it is hard for me to stay motivated to exercise.

Has anyone else noticed how few restaurants have nutrition information on the web about all of their food? I was trying to preplan my dinner out last night and it was almost impossible to find some place where I could get enough info to make a good descison. I ended up at Wendy's. I stayed within my points but it was a little frustrating to not find as many places with their nutritional info out.

I noticed that some places have their "healthy" foods but not all of their dishes.

Oh well, I guess if I eat out I just look for the places that have their nutrion out in the open!! hehehe

Had my first weigh in today, and lost 3.6 lbs my first week. I was hoping for a bigger first week loss, but my Dad's b-day party was last Sat, and I had three slices of Sicilian cheese pizza, a scoop of sugar free low fat ice cream, and a small piece of store bought cake with whipped icing. I went over my points for that day, but I had enough activity points that day to cover the difference. The rest of the week I didn't use all my points. I guess almost 4 lbs in a week with a party is still pretty good. :thumbsup2

Great job everyone who has weighed in so far, and good luck this week!!!!

Hi. I'm new to WW - I joined about a week and a half ago - I've lost 4 lbs so far, but I figure checking in more places will only help me more!

You think I should use the flex points?! I feel like I'm constantly eating or preparing food now- that's the hardest part of eating properly for me, all the prep time. So far the only time I've used the flex points is when I've had the bad stuff! I guess I have a ways to go til I get this all figured out...

Thanks.

Just curious, can you explain 3 week study to me?

I am month to month and can cancel anytime. I also had joining fees waived since there was a deal going on :cool1: so it made sense to just join. I LOVE it! I can see me growing out of it later on, but for now it is just right for me. I do 3 times a week, but I usually do more than 3 times around the circuit if I have time. I do yoga too and that is awesome as well.

Congrats on the Curves and the great sucess! I havent measured myself (I do it at home) since I joined in March so I will report when I do this week, but I am down sizes and am wearing pants I couldn't get on 2 months ago :cool1: :cool1: I am going forward from here to do even better! Even DD (13) wants to join now that she has seen it work for me  :cool1:

Keep up the good work!

WI was this morning.. down another 1.4 for a total of 12.8lbs :cool1:

Congrats to all you other 'losers' ;)

So glad to find this thread.

I joined WW 6 weeks ago today. I weighed in this morning with a -3.2 for a total of -20.6 ! I would like to lose 44 more pounds.

I feel really good about myself. I don't really see a change but I feel the change . I don't get so tired as easy and I feel like I have more pep in my step.

Good luck to everyone :cheer2:

Tara, have you checked out Dottie's website? She great point information for many restaurants. She can be found here: http://www.dwlz.com/restaurants.html Very helpful information. You may also want to buy a Weight Watchers dining out companion....I keep one in my house and one in my car. You can find them on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-for-2007-WE...2QQihZ006QQcategoryZ36459QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem or if you want I can see this Thursday when I WI if they have them at the WW Center for sale. And be careful of the "healthy" choices some places offer, they aren't always that healthy. I know the items on the healthy menu at Cheesecake Factory actually have a lot of points.

mmcguire and disneymac, congrats on your losses, that is terrific for your first weeks. Boston5602 and drgnfly30, congrats on your losses as well, great numbers!!

disneymac, according to my leader and from what I have seen with myself and my friends, you definitely want to eat your flex points. If you don't eat all of them I would at the least eat 1/2 if not 3/4 of the points, it really makes a difference.

Miss Missy, I received an card in the mail inviting me to join a three week fitness study. I paid a refundable $20 deposit and had to participate in Curves a minimum of three times a week for three weeks. They did my weight, body fat and blood pressure at the start of the study and again after the 21 days. The data they collected will be sent to John Hopkins institute to be included in a fitness study they are conducting. At the end of the study I was offered a membership for $49 plus monthly fees. Since I decided to join they applied my $20 deposit to the membership and I paid the difference. So far I am really enjoying it, my only complaint is that they aren't open on Sunday. It is great that you are such an inspiration to your DD. Keep up your great work!

Wow, I guess I didn't check in last week. Sorry!! And there have been so many great losses and new posters!

RT'smom - Welcome!

Bareacuda, Congrats to you and your DH!

Mikamah! Awesome two weeks in a row! I love that!

Andrea 2.6 is so good. And the hunger will fade after a few weeks. I don't think about food the way I used to at all. But i do try to have a veggie heavy meal (salad or stirfry) for lunch. That way I don't have to worry about dinner as much.

KJo, I'm sorry you are up. I get really down. Try not to give in to that, and next week you will most likely see it gone again.

Isyne4u, Wowwy! What an amazing first week!!! Keep it up!

Harvest, I usually stay the same after a good loss too. You will definitely lose that .4 next week!

Daisy, .8 is still a loss! Congratulations!

Tiggerlover, amazing your blood pressure really dropped. My mil does Curves and always really liked it.

mmcguire, 3.6 is about what I did in my first week too! Congratulations!!

Disneymac Welcome aboard!

Drgnfly, Great loss! Keep up the great work!

Boston, wow 20.6 is great and a great weekly loss too! Welcome to the thread!!

Now that I've written a novel...I'm on week 5 of staying the same. Think I need to cut out all sugar and see if that helps. We'll see!!

Good luck everybody!!!
