I am sorry I have missed so much lately, but life has been happening in full force. I wish I had time to read about all of your successes and trials, but I can't. I hope to pop back in on the weekend to catch up. I am just stopping in for my WI report.....down .2 this week and inching closer to goal. I keep playing with the same 1.5 - 1 pound....one of these weeks I will say adios to it for good.

Onward and downward!

DOn't loss heart! A lady at my meeting today stayed the same for 3 weeks and then this week lost 9lbs !!!!!!!!!! YES 9!! so keep it up and it will come!

Last week, the week after surgery and sitting around for a week, I was up 2.4, now this week after walking, yoga and curves... I am down 3.8 :yay:

I am loving the working out! Of course we have snow now :( and I went too full force after sugery, my body didn't react wekk to this weeks exercising! The DR told me nothing for 2 weeks and I couldn't handle that so I only went 1 week. SHHH! But I am giving it the weekend break and my body is ok now. I really hope I don't need more surgery, I find out Friday, If I do it is a 6 week recovery and I will be NUTTS! Please pray that doesn't happen to me!

Have a great week all!

My DH and I had our first official weigh in tonight after our first week on Weight Watchers. Glad to say it was a good week! My DH lost 4.4 pounds, and I lost 2.6! Keeps me motivated to lose more!!!!

How great to be making healthy changes together with your spouse! Weigh to go to your DH and to you for your great weigh in!

Mermaid02, life sure does happen whether we like it or not, but we just have to learn to roll with it I guess. Congrats on your loss for this week, I think anything over a pound is pure gold!

fofinia, I wish I had a little more of that "stick-to-it-ness", but I do the best I can. I think the closer you get to goal the more complacent you get because you feel food and look good. I think I need that extra push to get me over the hump. It will come I suppose, I am not giving up!

Wow, Miss Missy, 9 pounds in a week....I could never do that. the most I ever loss in one week in the 4 years I have been doing this is 7 pounds and that was in the beginning when I was over 200#. I think I would have to starve myself to lose that much in a week now. Congrats to her though, she worked hard for it I bet. Congrats on being down 3.8!

Just wanted to say 'hi'...

Just signed up for WW again this morning... according to weigh in I put 14 of the 25lbs back on that I'd lost last time I joined (ugh...) Hopefully next week I'll be able to post a weight loss!.... on my weigh to goal (about 30lbs)

Welcome back! Smart to go back when you see it beginning to come back on. Best of luck this week! I am sure you'll do great!

I just want to give everyone here a big hug and a High Five! Losing weight is really hard.... we all make bad choices and over indulge for different reasons and those habits aren't going to change over night. We need to give ourselves a pat on the back and "you go girl" (or guy) for every positive choice or change we make. My son has influenza and hasn't been eating. He was going house crazy and said he wanted to drive by McD's.... so I took him... you know what I got? Diet coke. Yep- that's it. We actually went to Burger King and he got onion rings... they smelled really good and I had NONE. He offered me one and I said, "Throw mine to that seagull over there." It was a little thing- but I feel like I accomplished something. I've been playing with the same 2 pounds for a while. When I get below 170 I'm going to treat myself to a pedicure. Slow and steady wins the race!!

I started my week out strong, but have been on a binge since saturday. I need to stop right now, and I am going to!!! It's so easy to snowball out of control. And I can't even pinpoint why. Started saturday with a pancake breakfast, a trip to the mall and chinese food in the food court, etc, etc...and I just finished with half a package of marshmallow peeps!:confused3 They aren't even worth it. Sooo no more peeps for me. I will have diet hot chocolate tonight when I watch dancing with the stars, and I will journal every bite. I feel better already.:)

Mermaid02- :thumbsup2 Nice job on the takeout. To pass up McD's and BK in one trip deserves a big thumbs up!!! I agree wholeheartedly with what you said, losing weight is very hard, and if we stick to it, we will all reach our goals. Congrats on your loss!!!!! It's great to see a number on the scale that hasn't been seen in a while.

Welcome drgnfly30. Many of us are repeat WWers. I started this time 45 pounds heavier than when I started the very first time. Good for you for coming back. Good luck.

Missmissy- Whoo hoo!!!! Great comeback after a gain. 3.8 is awesome!!! pixiedust: for good news on friday.

fofinia- congrats on the loss. Any loss is a good loss!! I wish it could come off half as easy as it can go on. Hope the kiddos are feeling better this week.

Harvest02- Awesome losses for you and your husband. It will be great for you to to support each other.

Tiggerlover- Congrats on your loss. You will get to goal soon. I can feel it. Spring is coming, sunshine and good healthy living.

Ktink- Welcome aboard. Nice work on your first week. This is a great place to find inspiration and motivation.

Suers- Glad the program went through at work. The group support will help keep you motivated. Congrats on your first pound!!

Auntread- Welcome and congratulations on your weight loss so far. Keep up the great work.

Thank you all for your inspiration. I'm feeling on track now, and will think of you before I put any more empty calories in my mouth. We can do this!!!!!

Mikamah, I'll be watching Dancing with the stars too tonight. Much to my DH's dismay! He hates any show I like :goodvibes! I'm also trying like you, no chocolate in front of the tv! I can do it!

Missmissy, congrats on the awesome loss! Be careful to not hurt yourself too with all your exercise.

Welcome drgonfly! Nice to have you here! Good luck this week.

Mermaid, I'm proud of you. Resisting the smell of fast food is the hardest. Sometimes after the first bite you can realize it's not worth it and stop but it always smells so good.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
See you later in the week!

Hi! I have been reading but not posting lately! I was down 11.6 pounds but missed a meeting and went to Savannah for a few days with die hard foodies...yep, as you would have guessed it...I gained back 5.6! I am P*ssed at myself and will need to get it together ASAP! I was drinking regular coke and sweet tea...eating A LOT of everything! It is SOOOO easy to put it right back on! GEEZE!

Thanks to everyone who posts...it really helps those of us who struggle!

Love to you all!

Beth

Hi all! Had my weigh-in last night and I was down 2 lbs. I was thrilled with my results because I almost didn't go to the meeting. I was feeling like I was going to do poorly, so it was a nice surprise! So my total now is 18.8 lbs!!!!
Yippee:banana:

Georgiagirl, boy do I know how you feel. In Jan. we were at Disney on the Dining Plan. And even though I didn't go hog wild I still overindulged. And gained 3.6. Ick! It took me two weeks to lose it and then another two weeks to drop below my pre trip weight. Hopefully it will be quicker for you!

Auntread, Congratulations on your awesome loss! I love it when the scale is nice to you even when you weren't expecting it. And I noticed that you and I are neighbors. I live on the Cape too!

Good luck everyone. I guess I'll be back tomorrow. I weigh in in the morning!:thumbsup2

Wow, I guess I have been MIA since last week. Lost 3 pounds total (include that 1 pound sample I was shown.)

Glad to see a lot of people having good WIs. (tiggerlover, Harvest02, Mermaid02, fofina, MissMissy, auntread

MissMissy - wow someone lost 9 lbs :yay: , did the leader say anything about not being a healthy loss? My thoughts are with you but listen to the Dr.

Mermaid02 - great NSV, those count alot.

ggeorgiagirl - ok, you goof, now go back on track. You can do it!!

I will try not to wait a whole week.

I'm down .4 this week, and was pleasantly surprised after the week I had, I was sure I'd have gained. I've done some walking the past 3 weeks, and I think that definitely helped me. Now if I can just stay on track and continue in the downward direction.

Congratulations to everyone here. It is great to hear about all your triumphs and struggles and know I'm not alone. We can do this!!!!

Have a great day!!!!

I weighed in this morning and lost 1 lb. I forgot to check in after my weigh-in last week- I lost 2 lbs. last week. Everyone's doing a great job- keep it up!

Hi, can I join in too?

I am a LT WW member, who has gained it back. I went to WW yesterday and got all the new materials and am going gung ho until I lose it back. I have been very "lazy" since my second DD was born....she is now 2.

What does everyone do to keep themselves motivated? That is my biggest struggle it seems.

I lost 2.6 this week. My husband is also doing weight watchers too and he has lost since January of this year a little over 50 pounds. He is doing great. But it's nice to have him on the same plan that I am on so we don't cheat we stay on the program. Good luck to everyone to you all and as my leader says at our meetings at the end of the day "I will see less of you next week"..:thumbsup2 :grouphug:

Daisy2 - what is your leaders name. I am in the Valley and had a leader a while ago that said the same thing. I don't remember her name exactly. Maybe Flora (or something like that).

Also, good job everyone.

I stay motivated by using these type boards. And my dh.

Have a good weekend.

my leader here in Fl always say "we'll see less of you next week" as well...wonder if it is in their training?

I got the new journal and must say I like it, it has recipes, quotes, motivational thoughts and tips in the lower corners of the pages. Nothing huge but it is a nice fresh change to the old journal.
