WW Weekly Weigh-in

I think when you start maintenance you get 28 extra points a week, so I guess that works.
Not sure how things have changed this year but, when I was maintaining, I had 24 pts/day and Flex points stayed the same. Going down to 18 to lose now is SOOOOOO HARD!!!!!!

Congrats everyone!!! :woohoo: :cool1:  :yay: :cheer2:

Thanks for all the well wishes, but I was up .8 It could have been worse. I am not good at having a big loss and then losing the next week too! I don't know if I get too lax, or what. But hey, I lost 7.2 last week and gained less than a pound back, so...back to cooking at home. The week I lost so much, we cooked almost every meal out of one of the WW cookbooks, and this week, we ate out almost every single night! I know that makes the difference for me. You would think I would simply cook. Somehow, life gets in the way!!!:lmao:

Good luck to everyone who hasn't weighed in yet and to all the rest of us for next week.

The sad thing is, I can't even take anything off for my Easter Challenge goal!

I weighed in this morning and lost 2 pounds!! I've now lost 15 pounds since I started trying back in Oct. I actually had to go out and buy a new pair of jeans because the ones I got right after my DD was born were so big on me, they were actually making me look huge! Still far from my pre-pregnancy clothes, but getting closer. I wish I had more time to post, but until my DD starts taking more than 20-30 min. catnaps, I don't think that will happen. I do try to read through the posts every couple of days, though, for some motivation. Great job everyone and keep up the good work!

Good Morning Everyone!

I got up EARLY this Saturday as I have a flight out of town in a few hours.

Weighed and am down another 2 pounds. So that's 6.5 pounds total YEAH!

This weeks goal is NOT to gain LOL! I have a long business trip starting today. While I do travel on business I have been going to a city that's just a few hours away this month and packing some food since I am staying at the Homewood Suites (i.e., kitchen!) This week I am going to Florida and Colorado. (You try packing for this trip!!! YIKES!)

Gee Kim, if that is what maintenance is all about, no wonder I am losing so slow as I am eating for maintenance!!!!! I just want to get the last 5 pounds off and get there.....wish I had more motivation! Coming up on TOM and I want to eat everything in sight! If I only lose .5 this week for my next 5 I will be happy.

I'mWong, celebrate your loss to date and work on having a better week. .8 isn't much in the grand scheme of things and if you have a better week this week you will be able to adjust your Easter challenge!!

KJo719 and CarolA, congrats on losing 2# a piece, great work!!:cheer2:

Hang in there all, slow or fast we are on our way to a healthier us!!!

Onward and downward!

Weighed in yesterday, and I am happy to report another loss this week. I'm down another 2.4 pounds!!! That bring my total to 30.8. I was really excited to hit more than 30 gone. I was even more excited when one of the gals in my meeting leaned over to tell me that was like losing a 4 year old. That made me pretty darn happy.

Good luck everyone in the upcoming week!!

Weigh to go, Stacerita!!!

I am struggling this week, I am craving everything and boy was it hard grocery shopping this week!!! I am trying to be good.....but.......

Hey Tiggerlover, I hear ya. Maybe the stars are crossing the wrong way with the moon, and giving out bad eating vibes. I had 3 parties this weekend. Friday night, lost control on the cheese and crackers, and artichoke dip, saturday I planned and went to my niece's birthday with 19 points, and did good, ate one piece of vegie pizza, salad, and a piece of cake and 4 peanut m+ms. But today, my other niece's christening, I started out with a breakfast of the cookies I was baking for the party, and ate way too much at the party. I'm home now without any leftovers, and hoping to be back on track as of right now. All day saturday, I was so in control, and planned, but why can't it last? If the food is right there in front of me, I have to eat it. Hang in there tiggerlover. You are so close- 5 pounds til goal!!!! Those are the toughest pounds to lose, but you will do it!!!!

Congrats to you great losers!!:thumbsup2

I'mWong- Hang in there. 6.4 over 2 weeks is still awesome!!!

Good luck everyone and have a great week. I need to weigh in tuesday, so I'll be back then with my gain!!!! Wish I had a couple extra days to redeem myself.

Onward and downward!
That's what maintenance WAS all about, for ME anyway. Went from 24 to 18 pts a day! HARD hit! PLUS, the BEARS game today! Playing, winning.....I ONLY ate JUNK all day! No chocolate tho - go figure! :confused3

I was even more excited when one of the gals in my meeting leaned over to tell me that was like losing a 4 year old. That made me pretty darn happy.
You should be SO EXCITED and PROUD!!! I remember when I lost my daughter (in weight, I mean;) ), I was saying "I lost a whole kid"! :rotfl: :woohoo: Again, be proud!!! :cool1:

Everyone here, It CAN BE DONE, It Really can!!! :thumbsup2

I am actually proud of the exercising I've done the past 3 weeks, even if my eating FAR exceeded my activity points but, I am sore (again) in places I forgot about. I feel good just exercising again! :goodvibes

Yes Debbie, Onward and Downward!!!!!! :woohoo: :cool1: :cheer2: :grouphug:

I was down another 1.8 pounds this week. I had 2 parties this weekend though so I hope to at least maintain or be down a little for this week's weigh in. I didn't eat really bad at the parties - but I need to stick to my exact point count the remainder of the week. Keep up the good work everyone!:goodvibes

Thanks, Mik, I need all the encouragement I can get. I feel myself waning and I don't want to lose my foothold, which is so easy to do in this eating healthy for life challenge!!! Today was a good day, but it is TOM and feeling a bit fluffy....not sure if I am going to count my WI tomorrow night since TOM is totally out of my control! Maybe I will WI at the weeks end to see if I can get a true reading! LOL.

Kim, congrats on the Bears win, I know there were a lot of folks in Chicago that were on :cloud9:.

knovak, congrats on your loss!!!

wow, it seems like everyone is doing so great!

I had a gain today--2.6--but it's not as bad as it sounds. Two weeks ago I lost 7 pounds in a week. I knew that was "off" (I am really close to goal). I figured that I was really really dehydrated that day, so fully expected to "gain" a couple pounds back. I wasn't able to weigh in last week, so here it is this week.

My exercise is going great--made my January goal already. I do 2 hours MWF, and 1 hour on T-TH. Hiking with family on the weekends. Almost too much exercise, lol, it's so hard not to eat when I work so hard! LOL

I really need to keep my portion control in mind too. Getting close to goal and I am starting to slip up a little too much. 10 pounds to my WW goal! (more like 20 to my personal goal though not sure if that's reasonable!)

Onward and downward, I am going to try to have this 2.6 pounds off by my next Tuesday weigh in!!

I was up .2 at weighin today. I am thrilled it wasn't more. I thought for sure I would be up at least 1-2 pounds. I am back on track and hoping to stay there. No parties or functions in the near future to lose control at should help. Out of the 5 days between my weighins, I stuck to my points for 3, and went out of control for 2, and was able to maintain. Of course I want to lose, so I need to keep on track to do that 7 days a week. It's so hard sometimes. I'm feeling pumped to stick to it today, and hopefully I will last the week.

Congrats and good luck to everyone this week!!! We can do this!!!

It is so great to stop by this thread and see such positive attitudes! chamonix and mikamah, it is a testament to your commitments that you recognize what made the gain and what needs to be done to get where you want to go, that is determination and sounds smart to me. I have struggled this week too and have taken a weigh in pass for the first time and I am with you both, get on track, stay on track and next WI will be a good one! This is one of the reasons I love this thread!!!

I had my first weigh-in today after 1 week on WW (flex points) and I am down 2.2 pounds!

I too had my first weigh in and I'm down 3.0 pounds. :woohoo:

Congrats to you frndshpcptn! Let's lose together!!

OK, I weigh in today, too, for week ONE. I've been super good, and the fact that I work in editorial for a national pizza magazine is hard hard HARD. My job is eating and writing about it!

We had a photo shoot Friday at a national pizza chain, one again on Monday in-house with our food stylist (three pizzas, a pasta dish and a lasagna), ate out yesterday at an Italian restaurant because we had a few more dishes we needed shots of for the March issue ... ARGH. :headache: Plus, I had to re-make a pizza today that didn't turn out well. It's so hard. Today somebody made a huge pot of soup beans, cornbread and cake. I didn't touch any of it today, since I'm weighing in.

I lost 60 lbs. in 2000-2001 on WW, kept most of it off until my pregnancy in 2003 (gained 75! :scared1: ) Lost another 40 until this past winter ... I'm so up and down. Watch -- I'll lose and then find out I'm FINALLY pregnant. DH and I have been trying for about 6 months...

Anywho, I need SUPPORT BIG TIME, Y'all!!

Congrats on the losses frndshpcptn and MJGirl! Keep up the great work!

gypsydoodlebug, wow, what a hard temptation to have every day! But what an interesting job you must have. How did your week one weigh in go? If you are looking for support this is the right place to be!!!

After the .8 gain last week, I had a loss this week of 2.8 pounds. I know the difference is cooking at home. The first week I lost so much, I had cooked 5 of 7 days. The week I gained we ate out every single day and then this week I cooked again 5 of 7 days and lost. I guess I need to think about the scale when I am thinking I am too tired to cook! Maybe that will give me what I need to make that cruise goal!

Tiggerlover...you are such an encouragement to all of us. You are so close to your goal and that is such a hard place to be. I get inspired just from reading your posts. You keep believing in yourself and you will get there before you know it!

Gypsydoodlebug...I have real admiraton for you! I couldn't imagine working in your job and even attempting to lose weight. Sounds like a fun job, though. Remember...you have done it before and you can do it again! :goodvibes

MJGirl and frndshpcptn...congratulations on your losses. You are on the road to success. Keep it up!

mikamah and chamonix...this is going to be your week! Sounds like you both had a lot of obstacles in your way last week. Keep us posted.

For everyone else...this thread is such an inspiration to so many of us. Thanks to all of you for posting your losses and your gains. It makes me feel more inspired and supported when I read about others.:cheer2:

I lost 1 pound this week. I was hoping for a little bit more, but it was kind of a busy week, so it was tough to keep track of points everyday. We're leaving for a short trip to Disney tomorrow, so I will be skipping next week's weigh in and working really hard the following week to get that Disney weight off! Keep up the good work everyone!
