Weighed today. Down the .6 from last week and 2 more (that's a HUGE loss for me!) So my total is exactly 14 lbs since late January. I am not speedy, but at least the scale is going the right direction

And I put on a pair of shorts today that I wore last summer and they are too big. (Doing the happy dance!)

Off to paint the hall and foyer today (do you get activity points for that?)

Have a great Easter!

Well, I am down another 2.2 this week for a total of 22.8 in 11 weeks!!! I can't believe how great it is going...I think back on days were I just used to sit and eat junk all day long, and get so disappointed that I put my body through that, but now after losing weight, I feel so much better, I have so much more energy, and I have gone down 2 pant sizes so far!!! :thumbsup2

Good luck to everyone who is celebrating Easter tomorrow, and just remember to control your food instead of letting the food control you!!! :sunny:

I'm down another 3 pounds for a total of 11 pounds over 8 weeks. :cheer2:

Just starting today.....I have twenty pounds to go...not sure if easter sunday is the best day to start, but I have to start sometime!!

I'm so proud of all of you....your losses are inspiring!

Down another 1 1/2 pounds for a total of 12.5 - moving right along! This board is great inspiration and support - thanks everyone!! :goodvibes

Hi everyone.
At my weigh in this morning I didn't lose, but I didn't gain either. I cheated too much this week I think. Still 10 pounds total in 3 weeks.
Does anyone know how many activity points 30 minutes jumping on a trampoline would be? i don't go to meeting so I don't have anyone else to ask.
Thanks, Keep up the good work everyone!!!

I wanted to pop in and say that everyone is doing great. For anyone that is losing slow, remember that we are all different and we can't compare ourselves to others. Our bodies may be more stubborn than the next and just doesn't want to let go of those pounds as easily. Stay focused and try to shake things up a bit with drinking more water, changing up some of the foods that you are eating, etc. Just please don't give up, you made the decision to get healthy for a reason and you need to remember why that was.

I went to WI this morning and was down 1.4 taking me to a total of 31.1 lost so far. I joined in August 2005 so as you can see, I'm not a quick loser either so let's all just remember to stay focused and positive. We're here for each other!! :sunny: :sunny:

It depends on your weight at the time, but 30 minutes of moderate activity at 200 lbs would earn you 2 points, if your weight were 150, you'd get 1 activity point.

LOSERS, LOSERS, LOSERS! That's so fun to say here. :thumbsup2 Congrats to everyone! :cheer2:

Except for me, up .5 this week. :confused3 Oh well, that's maintenance. ;)

Best WISHes for a great WW Week everyone! :yay:

Congrats to all the losers this week...Keep it up...Just got back from the weekly weigh in and only lost .8 lbs today...I'm a little disappointed in that especially since I was very good over Easter and since I've increased my activity but I guess a loss is still a loss...So going into my 5th week that makes my weight loss 11.6 lbs...

Now I have a question for all of you...do you find you use your weekly allowance points regularly or just use some or all of them? Basically I'm just wondering how you all go about using them? I'm thinking maybe I'm using too many of the allowance points but I've never gone over using 20 of them...Do you think this could be the reason for the minor weight loss...Thanks again

Sometimes I think that people don't use enough of those allowance points. If your activity level is up, you need to keep up the caloric intake, or your metabolism will adjust to the reduced calories by slowing down. I use the points pretty regularly, and have steadily lost weight over the past 12 weeks (over 2 lbs a week on average). The few weeks it slowed was when I upped the exercise but not the calories...coinkydink? I think not. At WW meetings, I've heard it over and over, that folks are staying OP, exercising tons, and not losing what they thought they ought to, then they have a week (such as Easter) that they thought they ate way too much, and voila! the weight comes off. Very counter-intuitive, and may not work the same for everyone, but I've heard it happening surprisingly often.

Oh, I lost another 2 lbs, have lost over 30 lbs total, and got my 10% keychain(which I earned a couple of weeks ago) today!

DG83, to answer your question about allowance points - I always use mine. :thumbsup2

First, your loss this week was a loss and it is better than a gain. Slow and steady wins the race is what I always try to remember.

As for using the flex points, I find that if my activity is upped and I earned the AP I will use them, other wise I don't use my flex points very often. Now, if there is a special event or something like that, Yes, I will use them then but I really try to stay at my alloted points allowed. I think I will feel more comfortable using the FP once I get to goal and maintain to get to life time.

Just remember that everyone is different and our bodies respond to us differently. You might would find that you could eat the exact same thing two weeks in a row, exercise the same, etc. and your loss would be different. That is just how weird our bodies can be sometimes. Don't get discouraged, you are doing great and sticking to program is the key. You will lose if you follow program and use their tips as far as drinking water, eating your fruits and veggies, putting in exercise time, etc.

Sending a :grouphug: your way to help finish out the week.

I have been MIA, but wanted to check in quick.

I lost a whopping .2 lbs. on Weds. night. So, now I stand at exactly 8 lbs. from goal. I am so upset about having to buy yet another season pass! Even if I lost 1 lb. per week from here out, and then pay for 6 weeks maintanence - that's 14 weeks = have to buy the darn pass again. Grrrr!

Maybe I will finally have a significant (for me) loss in the next 2 weeks. I am doing the Minnie 15k and the next 2 Saturdays I have long walk/runs of 7 & 8 miles respectively. Then 9.3 for the race, of course.

You guys are all doing so great!
Reading your posts does keep me going - thank you all!

Hi, new to the boards but I weighed in this morning. I'm up .5 but I'm ok with that. This week was tom and I ate a little more than I should have because of it. I did go and exercise this morning and we'll see how next week goes!

I weighed in this am and lost another 2 lb!! That makes 16.6 in 5 weeks. Amazing since I ate like a pig for 4 days over Easter! LOL! Great job everyone!

OK, last week I got my 10 pound ribbon, total loss for 6 weeks 11.8. I was really happy. A little too happy.

I weigh in tomorrow morning and i'm going to have at least a 3 pound gain. I'm so mad and it's taking a lot not to eat everything in my house. I know it's my own fault, but i'm really upset. I didn't do my water, ate more bread than usual, plus Easter.

Have any of you had set backs and how do you get through it???

Also, I was thinking of trying the Core Plan. Right now I'm doing Flex, just wondering if Core might be more strict for me. I really need to kick it into high gear. Anyone doing Core that has done Flex and can compare the two. Most people at my meeting are on Flex and it's the one I was most failiar with (123) so that's what I'm doing.
