Congrats on all the losses this week...I'm down a whopping .2 this week but it's better then nothing especially since I thought I had gained...Not sure what I did wrong this week other then using more of my weekly points then usual...I'm 1.8 lbs away from my 10% and hoping to get there by the end of the month...anyway have a great week! I can't wait to hear everyone's results!!!

I lost 3 pounds at WW WI on Tuesday night! Woo hoo!
Congrats to everyone. Woo hoo!

Hello to all. You are all doing great and very motivating. I am new to the Disboards but not new to WW. I've been doing ww this time since sept and am down 17 pounds. I try not to say only 17 pounds, as a loss is a loss, however slow it is. I plan to do ww for the long term, because I know if I stop now I will gain it all back plus. I found my original ww book from 15 years ago and when I joined this past sept, I weighed 45 pounds more than when I joined then. Thanks for this thread. I think it will really help me to get back and stay on track. :)

I think I forgot to post my WI this week. :confused3 No biggie tho, lost .5, at least I can 'legally' keep my 75lb clippie. ;) :woohoo:

A big woo hoo going out to Amber, Lynn, CarolA, Michelle, Kerry34, Knovak, BCVOwner2002, Alexis, Melanie & Kim! :cheer2:

Kathy - you are doing great. 17 lbs. is 17 lbs.!
(take this from a fellow 'slower loser')

I weighed in last night and was down the 1.4 I was up last week. I am done complaining about not losing. I made an appt. to see my doctor next week. I am going to have him do a bunch of bloodwork just to see if anything is off again - esp. my thyroid.

I am also trying to do Core this week to see if that kicks me out of this long plateau. My gosh, this Core thing is hard though!

Hi! I did my ww meeting with friends this am and I was down 4.4! It's the first week, so I don't expet that in the future, but I'm happy for now! Realistically, I still have 20 pounds to go! I know that will take all summer! Have a great day!

Awesome start, Shawn! :cheer2:

I weighed in this am and am down 0.8 lbs. I think of the tortoise and the hare and hope to be the slow and steady tortoise who loses the weight.

Thanks kristi for the encouragement. Glad you're down too. Good luck at the doctors.

Have a great week everyone.

Anyone here doing Core?

I am doing Core this week to hopefully kick my behind out of this never-ending plateau. I am having such a hard time coming up with things to eat! First off, we are both so busy working opposite shifts and chasing our 2 year old, we hardly have time to cook. In fact, I bought all the ingredients a few days ago for a core recipe and it's still not made.

This is my short list of Core-safe foods: fruit, veggies, fat free dairy, fresh chicken/turkey, tuna in water, 94% ff butter popcorn, eggs, WW puffed wheat cereal, corn on the cob, ff salad dressings.

I am definately getting my 5 fruits & veggies (and more). I am also doing very well with my milk requirement (some days I used to only get one serving).

Any ideas of quick or easy things that I haven't heard of yet?

TIA!

Couscous, salsa, quinoa, buckwheat, bulgur wheat, kamut, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, fatfree, sugar free jello and pudding, shredded wheat cereal, splenda, cool whip free, vanilla, cocoa powder, almond extract, lemon juice....flavorings are everything, esp. mixed with fatfree ricotta cheese ...canned fruit packed in juice, pink salmon in packets (MUCH better than canned!). There's more, of course, but you can get pretty inventive with some of these ingredients.

Hello everyone! It's great to see everyone doing so well. I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, I've been so busy. I am now at my 8 week mark and I am down 21.4 pounds. I think that is just great, I do not feel deprived of anything. Keep up the good work!

The maintenance :yo-yo: is back again. I'm up a lb this week. :sad2: Technically I should change my clippie, but I'm not going to. :snooty:

:rotfl:

Have a great week WISHers! :sunny: :thumbsup2

I know what you mean...I have TRIED to do this, and after 1/2 day I have no idea what to eat. I think I will try this week to sit down and make a menu for next week and try again. I am at a slow steady loss, but want to kick it up a notch. I am trying to reach goal by my birthday which is August 3rd, so I really have to stay OP.

Let me know how you do!!! :thumbsup2

Hey all..I'm back from my weekly meeting with great news!!! I reached my 10% today plus some!!! I'm so excited I'm down 3.6 this week making the grand total 21.8 in 9 weeks...I'm still hoping to make 25 lbs by June 25th when I leave for disney but I think I'm definately on track to reach that goal...

I was down 2.8 last night. That brings my total lost on WW to 57 even. It is going slowly, but at least the scale is moving in the right direction!

Great job, everyone - I am down 2.8 this week for a total of 7.2 in two weeks - I am happy! If I lost 20 pounds from where I am now, I think I could fit in a 10, which is my ultimate goal - I'm 5'11", so a 10 isn't bad - maybe I'm dreaming - I do have big hips and I've had two kiddos! Anyway, let's all stick to it together! Have great days!

Holy moly, size 10??? I'm 5'6", and on my best pre-kids days I looked HOT in a size 10!
Anyway, good job on the losses, everyone! Nice to see we're all hanging in there over the beginnings of the "summer food holidays"...have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, and stay OP!

By the way, I lost 40 lbs so far, 2 this week, and I'm thrilled!

I'll catch up with everyone later, but just wanted to post my WI before I jump into bed.

I was down 1.6 lbs. for a grand total of 30!
(this is big for me - slow loser)
And this is my so-far-lowest weight.
6 lbs. to goal... :woohoo:

I did do Core last week (and cheated a little). I was hoping that would mix things up a bit and help me get through this plateau. I woud keep it up this week, but with Memorial Day, I know it wouldn't be possible. I'll post more about my Core experience tomorrow at work when I have tons of spare time! :)

LOSERS, LOSERS, LOSERS!
EVERY ONE OF YOU! :thumbsup2

CONGRATS ON A JOB WELL DONE!!! :cheer2:

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! :cool1: :grouphug:

Great loss Ursala's shadow - I don't know if I'll fit into just any 10 in twenty pounds - probably not - I would love to look "hot", though - of course, I suppose that's where toning and not being so darned pale comes into the picture! The bad thing is, summer is hard and I love to eat those pool treats like soft pretzels and ice cream. I am going to try to bring my own snacks and plan my days to see if that helps!
