WW Weekly Weigh-in

:grouphug: Tara! I'm sure it's only temporary, and the exercise may be the culprit. Muscle weighs more. ;)

My advice, not that you asked ;) , is to NOT go back to 24 pts. Stay at 22 for another week, and see how it goes. :thumbsup2

I'll try and check in tomorrow with MY weigh-in. :sad2:

Thanks!
I've only been bouncing on the trampoline with my daughter, I don't think it's building too much muscle. What's weird is I weighed myself again this morning (just to annoy myself really) and I dropped 5 pounds since yesterday. My DH thinks I read the scale wrong yesterday. (It was 178.2 yesterday, today it was 173.2) I guess it's possible but I doubt it. I did buy a new scale last week, I think I'm going verify the weight with a 5 pound weight or something. I'm going weigh myself agian tomorrow morning just to see it there's a difference.

Thanks for the support!

Weighed in Friday this week cause I was heaading to WDW for the MINNIE, and to my surprise I was down 3.6 this week...I have no idea how, but hey I'll take it!!!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK EVERYONE!!!!! :thumbsup2

:rolleyes2 UGH! I hate the up and down of maintenance! Maintenance should be "maintaining", NOT going up & down. I'm up 2 lbs this week. :rolleyes2 I'm hoping the down is next week. ;)

Went to weigh in today...I'm down another 2.4 lbs for a total of 18 lbs in 7 weeks. I'm so excited I'm 2 lbs away from reaching my 10%. I really never thought I would be able to do this. My Short term goal is still to lose 25 lbs by my Disney Trip on 6/25 so 7 lbs to go in 6 weeks. Hope everyone is doing well this week.

Hi Guys! I'm back! I haven't even looked at this thread in forever! However, some WW friends of mine have gotten togetherto do our own weigh ins on Wednesdays - we're all life time members who fell off the plan and want to be back to our goals before we go back to the official ww place - can't afford to pay right now. So, we have a weight watchers scale and all of our old stuff and we're back in action! I was back to my original weight from when I began weight watchers nearly 5 years ago. I was back to my goal last year before DCL and after having a baby - gotta love those extra nursing points! Anyway, I guess I had too much eating fun this winter, so I'm back on track now. I'm coming back to you guys because I need the accountability and encouragement. Anyway, I did great with my 24 points yesterday - hope I can stick with it - have lots of eating occasions coming up - can I do it? Our groups goal is twenty pounds in six weeks - do you think that's too lofty? I would be thrilled! Then I'd still like to lose 5 - 10 more and then maintain! I enjoyed reading some of your stories again - I don't know how to add clippies, etc, so I'll just update the plain old boring text way. Have a great day!

Just back from WI. For the first time since 2/16 I'm down a pound or more - minus 1.2 this week. I hope this is the beginning of a new trend. I've still only lost 10.4 in 15 weeks!! But at least it's in the right direction.

I weighed in last night and was up 1.4. I have been at a plateau for almost 10 months now. I am calling my doctor tomorrow to have my thyroid checked. If it's not that, I give up! (not really, but you know what I mean)

Weigh-in day for me!

I'm down 1.6 this week!

Anyone else doing the Wendie Plan with WW? Its working quite well for me.

Kris

Todays weigh-in I am down another 2.2 lb!! That adds up to 22.6 lbs since I started 8 weeks ago. I cannot believe I lost anything this week. I ate a huge sundae from Cold Stone creamery, a vanilla shake from Hardees, a gelatti from Rita's, birthday cake, ribs, and crab dip! ROFL! I should have gained 2 lbs instead! I'm not complaining though!

Hi!
It's been a while, SORRY!

We have some great losers.

I was down 3.2 this week HOWEVER I was up 1.8 last week....... LOL!

So overall I am down 15.4. For those of you who are complaining about SLOW loss that is since late January.. (do the math about 16 weeks)

My mini goal was 20 lbs by my Disney trip June1 (which includes a cruise) I am a little worried about the goal since next week is a company training in Boca Raton. They feed us a lot and it's generally boring so I want to eat... I am going to TRY to behave!!!!

I travel a lot and that has kept my weight loss very slow. I know that part of the problem is that I don't enough veggies on the road. (Oh. and then there was that dinner of Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory......LOL!)

I'm a slow loser too. I'm down one pound this month. Last month when I went to Disney I lost weight. I was lucky to maintain this last visit. But the sweets at SSR are so good!!!

I weighed in yesterday and lost 1.2 for a total of 30lbs. And I get to upgrade to a gold clippie!!! :woohoo:

Keep up the great work everyone!!! You losers are doing great!!! :teeth:

I hear you Carol - I'm only down 10+ since late January. Frustratingly slow!!

First thing to say is Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Dizfan04...congrats on your Gold clippie!!! :cool1: Looks great! Had a 3 pound loss this week which puts me at 36.2 for a total. I am happy because I was up a pound last week and I did really well so I was dissapointed. For all the other losers also congrats to you! For all of you that are losing weight slowly just remember that if you weren't on the program you could be gaining instead of losing. A one or two pound a loss a month is better than a one or two pound gain a month. Have a great week everyone!!

Down another 2.2 pounds for at total of 18.8

Only .2 pounds from my 10% goal. I weighed in yesterday and have to weigh in again tomorrow since we are heading to Disney so hopefully that .2 will be gone by then. Then hope I maintain on my trip. :goodvibes

Even though I missed a few meetings, I'm down another 1.2 pounds for a total of 18.4! I want to be down 20 pounds before our trip to WDW on May 21. I could be close to this goal by the time we leave.

I had my annual physical on Friday and my doctor was quite pleased to see my weight was down and that I'm exercising more. I've got to get a pedometer before I leave for WDW next week. I'm curious to see how many steps I'll be walking while at WDW. Has anyone else ever done this? Annmarie

Actually I am not frustrated.. I am really pretty happy with myself.

I viewed this as a MAJOR lifetstyle change not just a weight loss program. So, I figure I could starve myself or something and lose faster, but I am trying to build new habits.

I didn't get this heavy overnight...it took some work... :rotfl2:

So it will take some work to get it off, but if I do it slow and change my lifestyle then long term I will be much healthier and hopefully able to keep it up for the rest of my life. One of my motivations is my next door neighbor.. She is in her early 70's I would guess. However, she has lead a very sendentary life and is a little overweight. Now she can't even walk to our mailboxes.... (And it's flat and a short walk) I don't want to be that way. Like her I am single and will have to take care of myself.....I want to be independent as LONG as possible...

I don't beat myself up when I slip. I know that I can't be perfect for the rest of my life (In my family I could have another 50 years! YIKES!) I just have to learn that treats are the exception not the RULE!!
