WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

Wow! Way to go!!:cool1:

Just got back from weigh in and am down 1.6. Slow but steady I guess!

1.6 lbs is great! at least it's a loss!

it's funny, even though i lost over 4 lbs, i don't feel it in any of my clothing??

although it sounds like everyone is in disney this week (i hope you are all having fun!), i feel like i still have to post.

i lost 2.7 lbs this week, bringing my total to 4.2 lbs lost in the last 3 weeks. i think that's pretty good. i unfortunately still can't go to the gym because i screwed up my knee in august slamming into a door frame and it still hurts so bad. it's not healing because i have to walk a half-mile from my car to my building and it's uphill on the way back. stupid university won't let the grad students park anywhere near our buildings. it's probably time that i start icing it again.

have a great week all. :goodvibes

Great job!

I stayed the same this week.:guilty:
We're going to Disney this week, so I'm really worried.

Hope everyone else had a better WW week!

I lost 1.3 lbs, but that's the same as what I had gained last week! :confused3

I know it is hard to keep going if nothing moves. I still remember psting on this thread how frustrated I was when I was fighting with the same weight for a number of weeks. Now I am 15 lbs lighter than at that time and it does not seem far away at all. Your body does not lose weight equally every week, it really pays off to look at the bigger picture! :goodvibes I have lost 25 lbs so far and feel so much better for it, but it hasn't been fast. :goodvibes

Keep going, things will improve if you stick to the plan! And don't be afraid of your trip. I found out that doing WW I no longer can eat as much as I used to. So even on events which would have been really bad for me in the past, I do much less damage to my weight than I used to. :thumbsup2 My advice would be: pick your treats with some measure: get something you really want, not just because you feel like you need to buy ice cream or so. And then take the time to enjoy whatever you got! :goodvibes

hey guys...we're back from Disney! I weighed in today and I was up 3.6 lbs. I knew it was coming; although I walked a ton (and I do mean a ton!) in Disney, I pretty much ate whatever I wanted, including 1/2 a funnel cake and the cheese soup from LeCellier:lovestruc. Then when we got home, I didn't get right back on the program. Ah well ~ it's a new week and I am back to tracking and watching what I eat again.

Briarmom~ have a great time in Disney and don't worry too much about eating. It's okay to let loose little and enjoy! The key is getting back on track when you get home.

Hey Cepmom, glad you had a great trip. Also just got back this week and my gain was much higher....7lbs, but
I had a great time in WDW with free dinning! I loved the food and wine festival...as you can tell! We ate at some of the best resturants, but I have to admit most of the trip I was sick from being full, my stomach was not use to pigging out. Worked out today, felt great to get back to my routine! Hope next week weight will be better!

Last week I was up .4 - today I was down 2.2 pounds.

Congratulations! :thumbsup2

Good to hear that both of you had a wonderful trip! And that you are back on track already! My experience is that the fast gain during a trip comes off quite easily afterwards if you start with the program again as soon as possible! So good luck to both of you!

hi all. it's been a long time. i'm restarting after falling off the program for 2 weeks. i'm back to only being 1.8 lbs lighter than i was when i first started.

i have a question: say that i eat something that i zero points, but if i eat 2 things that are 0 points, it can't really be 0 points in total right?

Like two servings of 0 point soup? If it's that, then add all the calories/fat/fiber in 2 servings to get your points.

Last week I missed WI since we arrived home so late from Disneyland. This week I had a TERRIBLE week. At WI today I am down .4.

I am going to have an awesome On Program week! I need a good loss.:thumbsup2

Hi everyone

I restarted my journey 2 weeks ago and I rejoined WW this past weekend. So far so good on the points this week. We will see what happens on Saturday.

I have lost 3 pounds since I started my journey so hopefully I will continue in a positive direction.

Hi everyone! It has been ages and ages since I have checked in. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great fall so far. This time of year starts the holiday eating frenzy and I know from past experience that it is really easy to gain weight from Halloween to New Years. I am setting my mind to be pro-active this holiday season, I do not want that extra 8-10 lbs that are typical for this time of year. I am 7 pounds under goal and would love to keep it that way!

Hi everyone!:flower3:

I think I posted on the old thread, but then I stopped doing WW. Big mistake. I was able to maintain my loss of 50 lbs, but when I started training for my first half marathon, I gained back 20:scared1: I thought that since I was doing so much running, I could eat more. Yeah right.

So now I am back on track with WW, have lost 6.6 lbs this first week back at it. I am doing it on my own, as finances don't allow for weekly meetings currently, and I did it on my own before with success.

I am going to try to read through many of the posts, but it will take me some time for sure. In the meantime, I have a question about activity points.

Is there a limit to how many you get per day? I found a formula on line for calculating them, but for yesterday, it figures I would get 12 points (I ran 7 miles in 83 minutes). That can't be right can it? I thought the max was 4, so that was what I gave myself. Should I use more? I will say that I had a hard time using all my daily and those 4 yesterday. Today, however:rolleyes:I have already dipped into my flex (still have plenty until Monday) and am thinking about a few more. LOL.

Thanks for any help, and I will be checking in more regularly now that I am back on plan.

First posting here, didn't know that there was a WW thread! I've been strictly doing the online WW Momentum, 11 weeks in and I'm down 19.6 pounds! Got back into some size 10 slim GAP jeans last night that I haven't been able to get over my thighs in ages. My main goal is to get my BP under control and build up my stamina. I have a family history of CAD(coronary artery disease) along with stroke, so I have to get healthier. We have a trip planned for next month and I'm concerned about doing WW while in the world. I'm thinking we can share entrees, DH is down 60 pounds since June just by cutting way back on portions and cutting out fat/fried foods. Do the restaurants have FF dressings available for salads? All the menus I find lack dressing info. Are the dinner (entree type) salads large enough to share or should we each get our own? Also, I gota funny message on the WW site after I entered my weight today, said since I lost 3 pounds this week I needed to be careful not to lose too quickly?

wow congrats on your loss so far!

i'm down 1.6 lbs since last week, but i've only been watching what i'm eating since yesterday again. i had a bad weekend. we go to dinner with friends of ours and my friend loves to both eat and make lots of food. she's only a size 2-3 so she can eat all she wants, unfortunately i'm not that small and a weight gain for me is the difference between feeling good and feeling gross about my weight. haha.

I gained 2.2 this week. I knew those Disneyland/bad weekends would catch up to me.

I've got to have as perfect a week as possible. And it's Halloween.:headache:

hi everyone
I'm back on the thread....had a terrible 3 or 4 week binge fest after our vacation to Disney the end of Septmeber:sad2: and I am trying my hardest to get back on program now. I remembered when I was first losing with WW, that I had a weight loss ticker in my signature. I loved coming home after WI each week to change the ticker to reflect my loss, so I added another one today in hopes that it keeps me somewhat motivated! Of course I need to do the program to be successful too, but maybe this one little thing will help in some way:laughing: I've been good so far this week, weighing in tomorrow, so we shall see.

tiggerlover...it's good to see you back here! Congratulations on maintaining your weight all this time.:thumbsup2

see you all again tomorrow with my WI results.

Well, I crossed the 20 pound mark, yippee! I just want to keep it up since we leave for WDW in a little over two weeks!
