WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

Last week, +.08. This week -.06. I hate this. The leader says maybe I'm not eating enough since I am under points this past week. Gonna try to eat more fruits and less 100 calorie snacks to see if that won't jump start things. However, leaving for WDW in the morning, and hope that I can stay on plan. Just a quick trip to help my daughter move back home, with a road trip to drive her car back. Gotta keep healthy snacks in the car.

So, love reading everyone else's trials and tribulations. Keeps me motivated.

Leanne2255 - just keep tying to make good choices. I think after awhile those 100 calorie snacks can really do you in. I have a rule that I can't have one unless I've gotten in all my good choice first. It cuts down on eating 5 100 calorie snacks in a day.

Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I'm really mad that I'm going to miss the actual meeting. Oh well....

I agree with Mary Anne, try to watch those 100 calorie things, they were a deal breaker for my DD. Make sure that you eat all your points but try to stick with healthy choices, don't go under the points, your body might just sabotage you and hoard all of the calories if it thinks you are starving. Have a good trip!
 

:I have my wiegh in on Thurs and I am scared!! I found out my Dad has cancer a few days ago and I just can't get myself on program. I am in a funk:sick: Usually I turn to food but this time I don't feel like eating. We did go to Mcds last night though and I ended up sick the rest of the night:sick: I know my body is going to sttart hoarding calories and not burn them!

On a positive note my DH found WII FIT finally!!! I have been looking forward to getting one. I hope to get out of this funk and play on it. My kids are loving it!

the 100 cal packs did me in too after while. It's too easy to eat a bunch of them and not enough healthy things. Now I try to limit them as much as possible.

Have a great trip and just stay prepared with healthy choices so you can stay on track as much as possible!

I had a great weigh in this week. I lost 3.2 lbs :dance3: and I'm back in my comfort zone. Back to exercising and counting points and back on track! I really had been struggling the past 4 - 5 weeks at staying on track etc and was inching up towards where I didnt want to be. We're haeding to WDW next Wednesday so I'm thrilled to be where I am so I can indulge a little and not freak out about putting on a couple pounds. Of course I'm hoping all that walking and sweating will balance it all out! ;)

Welcome Shane&jakesmom :goodvibes You know the hardest thing about WW is just walking in that door for the first time. Don't pay any attention to what the scale says, focus on what a great thing you done for you by taking those few steps.

Today was my weigh in day. It was a good week, I'm down 2 lbs :banana: For a total of 33.2 You can really see it now. I cannot believe how much better I feel, not out of breath from walking up a flight of stairs and not having to stop all the time to get my breath when I'm out doing stuff. The most important part is I have made it to ONE-derland! I can't remember the last time I had a weight that started with a 1~

Very mixed feelings this coming weekend in my house. It's the last time we'll all be together for a while, youngest leaves for college this coming Wednesday; oldest goes in another week and a half. to start his Junior Year I am so excited for both of them yet dreading coming home to a empty house. On the bright side, DH and I are planning an empty nest trip to Disney for food and wine.
 
I am amazed, I actually lost 1.4 lbs this week.

We just got back from Disney on Sunday and I was so expecting a gain (I was up 8lbs when we first got back:scared1: )

I just hope that it stays off!!

So that makes my total 16.2lbs in 14 weeks
 
I am headed to my meeting in a little bit. Does anyone else get nervous? Maybe because I wasn't really following this week due to some stress:confused3 But I am sooo nervous.

Does anyone else struggle with skinny siblings who say very hurtful things? That's another struggle for me right now. Sisters can be mean sometimes. She made the comment that she couldn't imagine having to wear an XL :mad: How she would be too embarrassed to shop:confused: SOmetimes I wish I could pick a new family:rolleyes1 Oh well I need to stay postive.

Congrats on all the losses! I am so happy for you guys!

I will post when I come back and hopefully get a ticker soon.
 
:wave: Hi gang! I know it has been a long time since I have posted, but summer is a busy time for us. I do not have time to read all that I have missed but wanted you all to know that I am still routing for you all. {{{HUGS}}} to those who need hugs and congrats to our losers. Just back and I lost .2. Not much but considering the fair, Carl's JR, McDonalds and all the soda lately.... I'll take it!!!! So in 2 weeks I have lost 2 lbs.
I am getting back on track tomorrow!! I CAN do this!

Thank you. I am proud. It's been very rewarding and not that hard when taken small steps at a time. WTG on the loss. I was hoping for a 3lb loss this week but am happy with the 1.4 I earned

I used to participate in the weekly thread many moons ago, but I've been away. I did rejoin WW last June, and I have had a good deal of success (see sig). I have a long way to go though, so I'd like to join back in.

Do you all post your weekly weigh ins as they come, or do you post on a certain day of the week?
 
HI Diane Welcome back! I've been on this post since the middle of May, great group of people here.

WOW what a great weight loss you have had! That's wonderful. Everyone just seems to post their loss (or get comfort for that darn gain!) on the day they weigh in, not one particular day.

I had a so-so weigh in last night but I know why. I lost.6 lb. Crazy busy weekend so Chinese takeout two nights in a row. Points were fine but the sodium turned me into a giant sponge.

My Sis IL joined and is following CORE with us. She was not a real fan but promised to stay 2 weeks before going to FLEX. Her first Weigh in was 6.8 lbs!
 
So I am back on WW again. I haven't been for four months. To my shock, I gained 16 pounds that I didn't have when I was back in January. So now I have to lose what I had originally set out to lose plus that new 16. AGH! I went back to my first meeting last tuesday and my first weigh in was this morning. Only lost .9. Its a start and better than gaining. I knew I should have skipped my muffin from breakfast the other day, and never should have eaten that chimichanga at DL over the weekend. But I did. So it showed at my weigh in. I am determined to stick with it and lose it all for good.

I know how you feel. When I joined WW again this time I decided that I had to make a lifestyle change and not a diet change if I wanted to take the weight off and keep it off. I had to get rid of that mentality that was left over from the day when I could decide to lose weight and it happened. Just like that. For me those days were long gone so I needed to change my mindset as well as my eating habits.

Well, that happened for me and it will happen for you too! Everyday make healthy choices whenever you can and the pounds will start to drop. Check in here as well, knowing there are people waiting to cheer you on helps to make you more accountable when your willpower starts to slip. This group of people who I am just starting to get to "know" are one more support group who are helping me to stay on track and I know that I will help to return the favor.
