WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

I am back after a cruise, where I ate very well, and exercised a god bit. The scale at home indicated I had actually lost weight, but when I got to my meeting tonight, with clothes on, it showed a gain of .75 pounds, which I will take.

I really need to get back to my journaling-as a lot of people have been saying, that is the most helpful thing to me!

The Fair is this week:scared1: Oh the temptation!! I look forward to the fair all year:laughing:

On a good note though, Missoula Children's Theatre was on base today and both of my Daughters got a part in The Little Mermaid!! They are so excited! Lots of jumping up ad down adn screaming done today:laughing:

President Bush was here today as well but we skipped him in favor of The Little Mermaid;)
 
I'm so thankful for all your support and optimistic views. I'm also glad I didn't just give up and blow it. I weighed in today and was down 1Lb. :thumbsup2

I agree with the journaling. It has been a HUGE eye opener of how much I was overeating.

And I am so glad you also noticed the snarkiness on some of the WW boards. I lurked and was a little scared to post:scared1:

I am going to start journaling. I think I need to see what I am eatingf adn what I can change.

I agree 100% the journaling is the best thing you can do for your diet. And ome of those people on the WW board :scared1: :rotfl: :confused3 but mostly :scared1: and :eek:

Some of those folks are scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For support I need a friendly forum, losing weight is hard enough without getting belittled.

I think that is wonderful! A cruise would be my downfall right now so I am impressed :thumbsup2

Well last night's WI was okay I guess. I lost .2 lb. I need to see what I am eating and then shake it up. I made 16 weeks and my average is just under 1 LB a week but I do not want to .2 it down to my goal :laughing:, I'll be 110 YO by then and there goes my vision of me in a bathing suit as my incentive :lmao:
 
Like I said, the Less To Lose forum is great. There's very little snark on that one (or at least that's how it's been in the past.) It's pretty much the only one I ever post on.
 

I have about a month before my free dining WDW trip!!! I realy want to be down more than I am by then, but we'll have to wait & see!!! I'm anxious about eating in the world. I want to enjoy & not be counting, it would be so hard to count! BUt I don't want to gain a ton either!!! Stratagies welcomed!!!

I had my weigh in last night and was down 1.8 lbs! Not bad considering I am not fully on program. I worked on getting all my water in last week. This week VEGGIES and fruits!

You know that is the way to sometimes do it. One piece at a time so it i not so overwhelming. That is what I am doing with the exercise. I started with just getting the step counter. Now that I know I generally walk about 10,000 steps a day, I've committed to 400,000 steps for the month of August! I feel at least it is a start.

That is wonderful! My WW buddies sent an article explaining how water works and what the benefits are. It really makes you want to drink your water. Keep up the great work!
 
It has been two weeks since I have posted my weight loss. I have lost three pounds in the past two weeks. That makes my WW loss is 21 pounds. I have since lost 26 pounds since May.

Now I have clothes issues is a good way. I hope to meet my 10% goal be the time we go to Disney in a month. I think I may be pretty close.

I do both the online and the meetings. I really enjoy the online and having the electronic tracking and reading the message boards, and the I know there are some on this thread that just do the online. One great thing about this thread is it is like a meeting that you can ask questions and get support. I think if you just want to do the online and you become active in this thread you will find great success.

I did the free subscription and I loved it!! I have chosen to attend the meetings and for financial reasons I have chosen to just do the meetings. The meetings keep me motivated and disciplined in writing in my journal and less on my computer.

I did purchase a scale to weigh food and that has helped get the points correct.

I did not WI this week thanks to having knee surgery on Wednesday. I also have not been counting points (can I blame that on the knee surgery too?) so I'm a little scared about next week's weigh in.
 
I am new to DIS and kinda new to WW. I joined WW in April and have lost 26lbs so far. I weigh-in on Wed mornings.

I met my first goal of 25lbs lost in 3 mo and hope to loose another 25 these next 3mo. I think I've got the food down ok, now I just need to get the excercise routine in place. That will help with our upcoming Disney trip too :)

I have my wiegh in on Thurs and I am scared!! I found out my Dad has cancer a few days ago and I just can't get myself on program. I am in a funk:sick: Usually I turn to food but this time I don't feel like eating. We did go to Mcds last night though and I ended up sick the rest of the night:sick: I know my body is going to sttart hoarding calories and not burn them!

On a positive note my DH found WII FIT finally!!! I have been looking forward to getting one. I hope to get out of this funk and play on it. My kids are loving it!

I wish I had the "WW" answer for you but I don't. I think you need to give your mind and body time to adjust. Try to make good choices when you can and eat when you can. Stick to light food so that you don't get sick, WW yogurt, a good cereal and FF milk, things like that. DO the best that you can.
I am so sorry that your Dad has cancer and I know how hard that news is. I will add him to my prayers, and wish you strength as well. My DH Aunt was diagnosed recently and the prognosis was not good. I cannot tell you how or why but she has bounced back, the treatments while difficult really melted the cells. Please try to stay positive and remember that medicine is very powerful today.:hug:
