WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

Weighed in today. Down 1.4 pounds for a total of 10.9. Got my "I Lost 10 Pounds" ribbon today, so I'm happy. :goodvibes
:woohoo: Congratulations!! That is a great accomplishment.

I had my monthly weigh in this morning, the good news is I am still under goal (barely though); the bad news is I gained 1.8 pounds this month. It is what it is, I can't beat myself up over it, just need to get back to basics. My leader told me that there is a new program coming out at the beginning of the year, new material to be distributed in December, has anyone caught anything about the new program yet, I am definitely curious, maybe something new will be just what I need.
:hug: Sorry you were up Deb, but it's great you are still under goal. You have kept that weight off for so long, and you should be proud. I think a new program would be awesome, just to start fresh and get remotivated.

Just back from my WI and I'm down .6 lbs. Not quite what I was hoping for but I'll take it. This week I'm going to continue to focus on my water intake and portion size. I did track with etools this week, and I printed out the entire week and went through it to see which area I need to focus on next and I think it is going to be portion control. I also think that I didn't have a bigger loss is cause I did not get my walking in. I usually walk on my lunch hour.

I am going to start cooking tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I plan on making more veggies and veggie dishes than I usually do so that I won't fill up on all of the other yummy foods. Let's see how much I can lighten up what is normally a butter, cream and sugar of all kind fest!

The leader did talk a little about the new program, really didn't give away many secrets only that it's the first major change in the last 4 years and that it's taken the best of the past few programs, listened to the feed back and incorporated everything. She also said there will be a lot more really cool new handouts. They will start to roll it out the week of 12/8,

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy the holiday guilt free. It is only one day, and if we make some smart choices, even though we may have our indulgences, we will be ok.

I'm down 2.5 pounds this week. I really needed that today so hopefully it will keep me on track for tomorrow. I'm .5 away from 35 pounds and I want to get that next week. I figured out the points value of everything I plan to eat for the my Thanksgiving meal and I'm splurging and having one dessert. I figure that it won't cost me all of my 35 extra points so I'm going to enjoy it.

I think I made it through Thanksgiving without a weight gain. :woohoo: I walked three miles first thing in the morning, tried to be good for dinner but did have two desserts. I came home and walked another two miles that night. I drank water all day and the scale was the same on Friday morning that it was on Thursday morning. Now the next month of Christmas parties will be a challenge. One day at a time and we can all do this.

congrats! That's awesome! I'm very impressed with the amount of walking you did. My husband and I talked about exercising.... *ahem* :rolleyes1

I WI yesterday.. and I'm down 2.8 lbs. :cool1: I'm very excited b/c my last two weeks I lost .8 then .6. I even got my first bravo star.

It's so close I can taste it but so far my scale has stayed the same as when I weighed in last Wednesday. I'm going to try to drink as much water as I can stand today and tomorrow to hopefully get the scale moving again.

Weighed in yesterday (yes, a Monday night after Thanksgiving) and I lost 3 pounds!! It was very encouraging because the week before I was actually up .8.

Now, after 4 weeks, I'm down 7.6 and hoping to hit my 10 pound goal by the time I leave for Disney in 13 days!! :santa:

ETA: On the last page I noticed some people wondering about a new program. My leader told us that it will be combining all of the best parts of Core and Flex (for example, having a flat amount of points for any amount of chicken that you may eat). So you'll be able to eat more. He said they're rolling it out 12/6.

Welcome to our little thread! I've started to hear similar things about the new program. It sounds like it is something good. I myself have tried to eat more core foods and I believe that is what has helped with my weight loss. Can't wait to hear about the full program the week of the 6th!

Congrats on your weight loss so far, 7.6 lbs in 4 weeks is awesome, ESPECIALLY after Thanksgiving. I hope you reach your goal and I'm super jealous you have a Disney trip that soon to look forward too.

I have not been to WW since the Monday before Thanksgiving, I'm trying to get the house ready for the Holidays before I leave next week. :faint: I have been checking in though.

I did not go to my WI on friday, so I will find out how I did over the holiday this friday.

I did get an email from WW this morning with some info on the new program. for those of you who use etools, you will see a difference in the points tracker section. Looks like it might be just what I need to get the motivation I need. I have done very well with placing my focus on one area. I think I have the water intake under control, and now I will focus on portions size. I'm going to use the scale more and break out the measure cups too. Wish me luck.
 
I weighed in today and I'm down a half pound. Not bad considering I didn't stay OP on Thanksgiving Day. My goal for the next month is to not gain. So far, so good!

My SIL and I were just talking about that same thing the other night as we were walking (we do WW together). I'm trying not to set unrealistic goals for myself through Christmas. If I can get through the month of December and just maintain my weight I will feel like I've won. Usually I would gain at least 5 pounds through the holidays maybe 10 so maintaining will be awesome. If I lose a pound of two that's just gravy. Good luck everyone.

Just wanted to introduce myself... I joined WW this morning, so I am just getting started and learning all about the program. But I just have to say I have been reading all the WW posts, and I think it is great that dis has a WW community for support and encouragement. I'd been thinking about joining WW for a while, and the other day I noticed this thread, and that was the deciding factor for me... knowing there is such a great, supportive group of people on my beloved disboards!!! I'd love to be a part of such an inspirational group, and I feel like the WW program is something I could manage. Here's hoping I'll be seeing alot more of you guys... and hopefully, less of myself! ;)

I think you will really like the WW program.

I have my WI today, I'm hoping for a maintain this week. Fingers crossed.

But still have to wait until next friday to get the new materials. I'm really looking forward to that.:banana:

Well for the 2nd time since last May when I joined I had a weight gain. .4 for the Thanksgiving week. I have no problem with it and I too feel if I come out on the other side of Jan 1 with a flat weight loss/gain, I will consider it a victory. I could have eaten everything in sight and I know I did not do that. I did have a lot of meals that were not home prepared the ENTIRE week and did the best I could. That is a LIVE-it not a diet.
