WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

Hello and WELCOME to the new folks! This is a great place to check in--very supportive folks here.

I weighed in this morning and had lost 2.4 pounds!! I was amazed . . . I used the most Flex points last week I've EVER used. However, losing all this weight, I'm being much more active because I feel better. Guess the two work hand in hand, huh? Anyway, :goodvibes .

Have a great Memorial Day, everybody!

new to this thread... (not to WW)

I've been on the flex plan since January 2007 and have lost about 65 lbs.

First, congratulations to everyone who has posted here.... LOTs of great motivation here!

Second, I continue to be amazed at the success that WW gives so many people. I really have enjoyed the plan.

Here is the reason for my post...

I need meal/food ideas. Would any of you mind posting what you have eaten for say... the last week or so...

I am in a food rut and am looking to break out!!

Welcome Shan? Ar you DVC? We will miss you by a about a week at Disney, although I will be at OKW. First 5nights there and then the weekend at Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

.

Yes, we are DVC and love it! I have never stayed at OKW but plan to soon!
I have a hard time getting my family to try something new.....they like SSR THAT much :goodvibes

I am sorry that we will miss you. I hope you have a magical trip! :wizard:

Well this is what I made tonight: I made 5 oz of chicken - and broiled it with 2 tablespoons of butter. Then I added some wine worchestershire sauce and served it with a serving of rice and asparagus. 8 pts but if you used two veggies and less chicken you could easily make it less points. It was combination late lunch are early dinner so I had a lot of points to play with.

I am also going to make some veggie soup to have on hand. I bought the 0 point progresso and I'm going to add a ton of fresh vegies to it. I like the soup as a base but it's too soupy for me. I like my soup CHUCK full of stuff. Instead of adding noodles or bread, I'm going to add veggies. Still 0 points and a nice add along for lunch.

I also love gazapacho (kind of a cold tomoato/veggie soup). Most gazpacho recipes include tomato, cucumber, bell (sweet) pepper, onion, garlic, and celery. For that one I picked the regular Progresso Vegetaable Classic - Hearty Tomato. That has 2 pts per serving - there are two servings in a can. But I wanted something that had more "body" to the soup. I'll add a ton of veggies to that (steamed first so that they are not raw) and some "hot" sauce. Low point value.

I work full time so for lunch this week I"m going to alternate a turkey sandwich on WW bread, with tuna with lite mayo on WW bread. Depending what I have for dinner, I'll probably bring some left over in one day. I'll add a fruit and a WW yogart to have at somepoint in the afternoon. Breakfast I'll have a WW English Muffin and a fruit--for this week anyway. Once I open the pack I'll have to finish it or it will go stale. I don't care for frozen stuff so I will not put it in the freezer.

Shan we own at SS and BWV. We've never stayed at SS but stay at either OKW or BWV. We'll be at the BWV for Christmas/NY this year.

1.6 lbs this week!!!! :cool1: I started working out more than before, and it helped!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! i so need to be on teh WW wagon after this past weekend..i saw a scary # this morning..thankfully i have till friday to fix it! ;)

OH NO! Just when things were going good, my Boss' boss is inviting us all out for a Mexican lunch next Monday!! When you go to Mexican restaurants... what do you get? I think the tortilla is a no no right? I'm thinking fajitas... without sour cream, cheese, and tortilla shells-- and of course no chips. Would this be a good choice? I'm on Core.

Okay, so I wrote this really long reply yesterday and I come back today and it didn't post! :furious: :confused3 So forgive me if I do not reply as detailed as I have a lot of ground to cover!

Mik, :woohoo: on your loss this week, not bad for a splurge weekend!

A great BIG shout-out to all of our losers this week: MA pigletfan, Wife2Grumpy, memy26, DizneeMommy and toledo13!!! Keep up the great work!

Mary Anne, so glad that you chose to go to another meeting and have found someone you enjoy. It makes such a big difference having a good meeting and leader to support you through your journey. And kudos to you for making the healthier choices when the BK came through the door. My work has a lot of food events so I just take them one at a time and make the best possible choices I can at the moment.

:welcome: Joanne, Ms. Heimlich and Saratoga Shan, so glad you all have joined us! I think you will love it here as much as most of us who post regularly do. Shan, try to incorporate those carbs you love so much in your flex points for the week otherwise you are setting yourself up for a fall. It is important not to deprive ourselves of the things we love.

MA pigletfan, we all slide a little, great thing is today is a new day and WI isn't until friday!!! Hang in there and have an OP week and you should be just fine.

toledo13, I think the fajitas minus all that you mentioned would be good, I would have ordered it minus everything so you aren't tempted to have "a little taste". Add salsa and guacamole too as a nice addition. You will have to let us know how you make out.

Hope you all have a wonderful OP week. Onward and downward!!

I also need to thank each of you, this thread and the WISH forum has been a HUGE part of my success over the years and I appreciate each and every one here. This truly is a journey and a lifestyle change and I am so glad we have one another for support.

Interesting. I guess that means I have lost an automobile tire, 4 chihuahua's, 10 dozen eggs (120 eggs) and 15 guinea pigs. :cool2:

Evening all. Great work on all of you who are doing so well. :pd and good thoughts to those of you struggeling.

My team at work has decided to weigh in on Thursday morning. I would wait till Friday but the girl I"m doing it with at work wants to see how she's doing.

So I come back to my desk from some sort of meeting to find the office manager has left a LARGE dish of Ben and Jerry ice cream on my desk. Nope, no thank you, I put it back in the kitchen and don't care if it ended up in the garbage. Then not hour later, he's back at my desk with a bag of (mid size) of potato chips. Nope, not hungry. Granted I haven't made a big thing about being on WW, none of anyones business except my nearest and dearest internt friends.

Ms. Hemlick - that's a super list. I think I'm going to print it out and cross off the items as I lose the weight.

tiggerlover - love it - onward and downward.... great thought

scuttlemetimbers - great total loss
