We will be at Mickey's World in mid July for a conference and it so happens that our daughter's 8th birthday will be during the time we are there. For her birthday, her request is to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and spend the day at Epcot.

She has expressed the desire to write a letter to Mickey, inviting him to come to her party (presumably the breakfast at CM's) and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to what address a letter of this sort ought to be sent.

Thanks,

Warning: My reply is not for your daughter's eyes :)

I don't know where you could send the letter but another thing you could do is ask someone who's going to WDW a few weeks before you to send you a postcard from there. There is a thread on this board called 'Pay it Forward' - it's a sticky at the very top of the board. People send postcards and, in turn, the recipients send postcards when they get to WDW and so on.

Last year, my children received their postcard from Goofy and friends (a kind DISboards member) 2 weeks before our holiday and they were thrilled. In turn we sent 10 postcards for others when we were there - I really enjoyed doing it.

You can tell the person sending it what you want them to say in it i.e. give them the 'response' from Mickey about how he'll be at your daughter's birthday meal at Chef Mickeys and specify that want a postcard with Mickey on the front ;)
