I could swear I saw this on here somewhere, but now I've forgotten...

Some families ordered wristbands for their kids with emergency contact info for the kids to wear while in Disneyworld. I would love to do this, if anyone has any recommended companies...

THANKS A BUNCH! :)

I ordered 3 Shanrene bracelets for my son. They are very nice and the order came within just a few days. I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered ID tags from www.whosshoesid.com. They attach via Velcro to shoes or sandals.

I am pretty sure I got this idea from the Dis Boards (but not sure where the post is now). I ordered them and received them promptly. I have 2 children (DD3 and DD5) so I ordered 2 packs. At the time I did not realize they came 2 IDs to a pack. So I ended up with 4 total IDs. In the end I am glad I have 4 because I can attach the tabs to my DDs buddies should they decide to take them to the park or on the plane.

We just used our sharene bracelets during our trip in December (6yo dd and 2yo ds) and they were WONDERFUL!

I opted for the bracelets over the shoe IDs because you can't put the shoe IDs on Crocs!

Dd wore her bracelet on her wrist and ds' was on his ankle.

Oh and thankfully we didn't need to actually utilize the bracelets during our stay at WDW!

My girls will be 2 & 3 when we go, so I like the shoe id over the wrist band because I think they will take the wrist band off - only problem is if they go on a water ride or something, will it get ruined? Is it possible to tie the wristband to a shoelace or something like that?

I put the wristband on my ds' ankle instead of his wrist. He is 2yo and had NO problem w/ it being there! :thumbsup2

The place I ordered from had youth-sized wristbands as well as toddler-sized ones. I got the toddler sized one for my 3 yr old and it fits much closer to his little arm (but not too tight) and would be hard for him to get off by himself.

i used the popular rubber braclets for my goup of 10 adults with mental retardation. I used a sharpie on the inside and wrote down our cell phone #'s. they worked great - got them free and they didnt stand out.

I used the bracelets for my 2 dds one was 18 mos and the other was 5. The 5yo had more of an issue than the 18mo. I put the bracelet on my 18mo and my 5yo ankle. It was tight on the 5yo but it worked. The shoeid wouldn't fit on alot of their shoes.

we used tattoos that you can personalize fromhttp://www.tottoos.org/ and loved them. We put them on the back of DD leg near her ankle so they were not in every photo, she would not be tempted to play with it, and they were easy to spot by someone else if need be. We put a new one every couple of days. They were really easy to put on and take off.

We ruled the bracelet idea out because we thought we might forget to put it back on each day and we thought DD might be bothered with it more.

what type of info do you have printed on them? Just their name and parents cell numbers?

We also did not put DD name so it could not be used by someone who didn't know them! We put "If I am lost please call mom (cell) or dad (other cell phone number. So we took up a total of three lines. We technically ordered the medical tattoos in order to get the three lines, we just didn't put a medical symbol.

We used the "ID Inside" bracelet (velcro) for DD2.5 in December. I found it on several websites as well as eBay after reading recommendations on these boards. We liked it because it was adjustable and it comes with several inserts so that if you had new information (new cell #, etc.) you could just replace the insert and not the entire bracelet. DD wore it on her ankle all week and LOVED it. She even wanted to sleep in it! (We told her it was a "princess" band and that it was VERY special!)

Good luck!

I ordered mine today! I ordered the ones from Shanrene.com, thanks everyone for your input!
