I know they've already started using the wristbands at WDW but I'm wondering if they're using them yet at DL and, if so, feedback whether people prefer them over the old method. I know they're used for a lot of different things at the parks but I'd particularly like to know how efficient they are for Fast Pass.

The Magic Bands are not utilized at DLR at this time. You use a cardstock ticket and get paper FP's. No plans at this time to implement what WDW has done in regards to Magic Bands and FP+.

We liked using them Magic Bands for FPs, though we wished they'd allow for park-hopping. We were also really happy with their utility as door keys and as a quick way to pay for things.

That said, lots of people seem to hate them. I chalk it up to the different ways people enjoy the parks. They were flexible enough for us, but not everyone. Having a few pre-set FPs was fine, and we changed several at the last minute (literally while standing in front of the ride) because we decided to do something different. Also, we learned early that the trick to getting the rides and times we wanted was to pick one of the options presented, and then change it after the fact.

That said, I don't see it coming to DLR anytime soon.

I'm with you, I loved them! We did spend a lit more when we had them though...
