Wrinkle release?

I was in my small Walmart yesterday and all they had was an expensive, huge bottle of wrinkle release. Where can I find a small inexpensive bottle? Travel size maybe? What else would work?

Our local branch of the AAA (CAA here) has a small shop that stocks travel-size items, including wrinkle release. You don't have to be a member to shop there. Perhaps this would be worth checking?

I use a spray bottle with some downy and water in it.
I read somewhere that is what it is.
Anyway it works well.

1 tsp. of liquid fabric softener like Downy or Snuggle mixed with 1 cup of distilled water. Place in a small spray bottle for travel. Clean out an old sample size hairspray pump bottle and label it appropriately.

Dollar General stores have their brand for 2.00 for a big bottle. You could just pour some into your own little spray bottle.

I also make a homemade version. A 50/50 mix of purified or distilled water and rubbing alcohol. Then add a couple tbsps of liquid fabric softener. Adding the alcohol allows the liquid to evaporate/dry from your clothing faster. You can substitute cheap vodka for the rubbing alcohol too.

I just bought a travel size this week at Target for my upcoming vacation. It was in the travel size toiletries section.

Definitely Dollar General! I will buy them 3-4 at a time just so I don't have to go back in there for a long time. That's the only thing I will buy there, because I feel it is not a nicely kept store.

They are $2 each and is a very large bottle. IMHO, this brand is actually better than the Downy brand.

Do u guys find the wrinkle release works well?

perhaps i should buy a travel size for my upcoming cruise....

It is great for a cruise. As I hang my clothes I spray them and they are basically wrinkle free when I need them. It is a great product. :thumbsup2

I just got a small travel size bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release at Rite Aide for 2.49 this evening. I looked everywhere for it and finally found it there.

HAHAHA I'm am so totally going to do this - particularly the part about the cheap Vodka.....

This is going to be the gift that I give everyone I don't like this coming Christmas - so that way, they will go to work in the morning smelling of cheap vodka!

Even though I like everyone I work with - I am going to give them all a bottle as well - and then make jokes in the following weeks about the need to start an office AA group -since everyone would come to work every morning smelling of cheap vodka! :lmao:
