A GM is the General Manager. Teddy Long is the GM of Smackdown, Coach used to be the GM of RAW until William Regal won the battle royal and took that Job. ECW doesn't officially have a GM.

Oh yes, it's fake. But it's a soap opera for people that like a bit more gore than the average person. These people are preformers and they really need to know how to not get hurt and how to make sure they don't seriously hurt the other preformers. They're all really talented, but sometimes somebody does get hurt. But it's a really athletically and mentally challenging.
