WPE - NEW menu!!!!!!!

Do both WPE locations have the same menu? This one seems pretty limited, wondering if the other location has the more expansive menu....OP, can you tell us which location this menu is from?

Good question, this is the same menu that all ears has for the West Side location.

This is the Marketplace WPE location menu, NOT the Westside!

There are a few items missing from the former menu, but they added a few things too.

The Westside WPE menu is FAR smaller!

Darn! Was hoping the other location would have more choices. Thanks OP:thumbsup2

I know! Disney seems to think that all kids eat is mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and pizza. Some (I can probably say many) of us have kids who like thing other than "kid" food. :headache:

Yeah, I have one of those kids. She would prefer steak over any of the above. That's why we decided to upgrade her to an adult ticket since Disney is paying for our food, lol. She is sooooo excited!

The Market Place has always had better choices and they were the last to cut their menu. I was told by the staff there that this location is a WP corporate location.

The Grand Café at West Side is run by Levy Restaurants.

we've been to disney many times but usually choose earl of sandwich since my mother loves it so much. does anyone know if you can substitute something else for the mashed potatoes with the rotisserie chicken, or does it come in a box prepackaged or something?

As good as the menu looks, I'm not too happy about the kids' menu. WPE was one of the few places that didn't have a kids' menu. My kids LIKE different foods, they really don't always eat checken fingers etc . . . And when you're on the DDP this was one place to get away from the same old, same old.

We'll still eat here, we usually ate here 2 or 3 times on our trips. But maybe not quite as often now.

Stephanie

i agree that the kids' menu doesn't look all that exciting and was just thinking that if we eat there the portions are large enough to share w/ds so we'll skip getting him a meal at all...

On the menu on the wolfgangpuck.com website under kids menu it states it is our pleasue to portion our menu items for younger guests OR they can order from the kid's menu.

I know when we went in December the family in front had a child and they made clear she could choose whatever she wanted.

We leave for Disney 1 week form today woohoo! WPE is on my list along with Earl of Sandwich, I may have to choose between the two but hopefully not! The menu looks great thanks for sharing! I would have loved to try the BBQ chicken quesadilla though. BTW, my daughter is one of those kids that only eats pizza and chicken nuggets!

I also will miss the bbq chicken quesadilla. I was there last month and tried the bbq chicken pizza. It was very similar in taste and VERY delicious!

It does not come in a pre prepared box. Everything at WPE is very fresh and delicious. WPE cast members are very friendly and helpful (kinda reminds you of how ALL of disney used to be) just ask them for a substitution. I'm pretty sure they would help you out.

Can someone clear something up, we have a table booked at Wofgang Pucks, is this it or is this seperate?

We are on the full dining plan.

Nope, this is counter service not table service. I've never eaten at the TS one, but WPE-Marketplace can't be beat. I know that no tip is expected but the food is so good and the servers are so nice that I leave one anyway. :)

Separate. This thread is talking about the counter service restaurant at DTD. There is also a full table service Wolfgang puck cafe at DTD.

You must have missed the note on the menu that said they are happy to portion the adult items to child sized items. I LOVE this concept as my children, like yours, have adult palates- they enjoy many types of food and get tired of the same old nuggets and pizza on most WDW menus.

Okay just out of curiosity.....anyone that has been there recently with the new menus, if you could clear it up, that would be great. I notice that the description for the tortilla soup has changed, so I am wondering if the actual recipe for the tortilla soup has changed as well.

It used to be tomatoes, tortillas, goat cheese. Now, it is avocado, tortillas, cilantro. Hmmmmm....

I guess I am wondering if the avocado is pureed into the soup itself, or if it just served on top as a garnish.

:confused3

This thread is about 5 mos old...this "new" menu was posted back in February. So, guess what: about time to change the menu, lol. Seems like many of the restaurants change up their menus about every 6 mos. Might be completely different again when ya'll get there. Just sayin':dance3:
