Wow, THV At Less Than 11 Months

Thought I shot myself in the foot on Thursday when I forgot to call right at the 11 month mark to get ourselves a Tree House Villa for August 16 of 2011. Call first thing yesterday and secured one. Yeah for me.

Good for you! If you think about it though...the only people you are competing with are the SSR owners themselves. It wouldn't be until January that the rest of the DVC owners would have a crack at it. In any case, as a fellow SSR owner its great to see that the availability is there.

Agreed, even though the SSR owner population is large, I wouldn't be surprised that you could get THV's in the booking window for owners some what routinely. At 7 months I think it will be quite difficult.

Also, there are a lot of people being scared away because of reports that it is too far away, etc etc. I think a lot of this will settle down and hopefully you will see some extra services being put in over there as time goes on (drink refills, etc).

We'll be in a THV for 5 nights starting Aug. 14, 2011.....first time staying there....really looking forward to the experience!

I think the THV look amazing and one of the reasons we bought at SSR. Can't wait to make our reservation this January.

I had to wait for the seven month window to pay and use the rest of my points for our 12 night at the Treehouse in April and got it. Well pleased as already splitting up our trip three times did not want to for a fourth time.

We stayed in July for 12 nights and loved it so much. We found the boat really easy and we walked to DTD

We are booked at THV for the first time also next Aug. Can't wait!

Our first stay will be over spring break. Can't wait. I don't mind a little more walking for the seclusion and beautiful interiors. My boys can't wait!

Once the newness wears off and all are declared, I'm not expecting them to be a particularly difficult reservation comparatively.

I just booked a THV for March and was surprised at how easy it was to get. I am really looking forward to trying them.
