Wow! "The Perfect Gift" is....better than perfect!

I'd ordered a basket a couple of weeks ago from "The Perfect Gift" for my DD10 - fun with an Easter theme (since we're cruising during Easter Sunday).

Joanne was amazing! I had no idea what to order and Joanne suggested great ideas. We built a "Hey! I'm on vacation basket!"- and put in things I aren't everyday treats in our household...sodas, chips, chocolate...threw in a beach tote, an underwater camera, a nice towel. I suggested comic books - seeing how Joanne had got me into the spirit...oh, and Easter treats!

I had NO idea how far she'd go to get the "perfect gift" for her clients...

Joanne called yesterday - her neighbor is a comic affectionado and he offered to buy the comics after he heard about DD age and interest...Joanne was so excited! "We got a "spectacular" Archie issue and one of the comic books is about Betty and Veronica going on a CRUISE!... We have the coolest Easter treats...chocolate eggs with gummi bunnies inside....!". Here I thought they had an exceptional inventory...these wonderful folks will hop in their cars until they find the right things!

"WOW!" is all I can say...and we don't see the basket until 7 more days! I'll have to get to get to the cabin first and take a picture before my DD dives into it...or I do!

My mom ordered 2 baskets from Shirley for my neice and nephew too!

Joanne - You are wonderful! You're making it easy to spend a special holiday away from home and keep an Easter basket tradition!

The Perfect Gift is so good at doing themed baskets. I got my hubby a Chicago Bears one for our anniversary and ordered one for a crew member...although I didn't get to see that one, she reported that she loved it. It was themed as a treasure chest with sea shells. Shirley really takes care to make sure that the basket matches the likes of the recipient.

Barb, your picture of the Bears basket they did for your husband and your description of it - that's what made me call The Perfect Gift! If your ears were burning it was because Joanne was telling us about trying to find Bears things in Florida! P.S. I've found your web-site very helpful!

Tluvs2talk, will post picture of the basket (...well...I'll try to get one before DD demolishes it!). Thanks for the links to your photogallery that you posted awhile ago - we're staying at the Dolphin in 3 days and we can hardly wait to hit the pool after the lovely pictures!

We worked with Shirley at the Perfect gift before our cruise last year and can't say enough wonderful things about her and about the baskets. I'd recommend including a lot of drinks since they aren't available for free during the day..

Good afternoon
First I want to thank each and all for the wonderful remarks that so many have written.
My staff, Joanne, Pat and my hubby Norm are all one of the greatest teams anyone could ever want or work with in any line of business.
We try to make everything perfect for each customer, regardless of the searching and hunting we have had to do in order to fill our orders - sometimes it was impossible, but not until we tried or knew we just couldn't.
I have always wanted a type of business where there was blending of customers and treat them as anyone of us would want to be treated.
We have made mistakes, but have tried in every way to make up our errors. By the Grace of God there have been less than 4 and that is quite a record for all the floral and baskets that leave our shop. We aren't perfect :-( BUT we do try
Anyhow thanks again and also wanted to add that noone has to order from us to get our help if they are in questions or problems while waiting for their cruise. Please do not hesitate to call anytime the need is there. We are just friends that haven't met yet.
