WOW! Thank you very much Comcast!

I got a package in the mail today shipped via FedEx from Comcast. The FedEx guy said he didn't know what was going on but was curious as they were delivering thousands of the packages exactly like the one I received all over my area yet he had no idea what it was. So I told him I'd open the package immediately so he could find out.

The package contained a letter that briefly described the beginnings of Comcast and went on descibing the current company. Furthermore, they said they're looking forward to welcoming their newest aquisition of NBC Universal and with that they decided to share the happiness with Comcast customers by sending 2 Universal DVDs free of charge!

I'm just surprised they did this at all and I think it's a very nice gesture. We received The Bourne Ultimatum and Evan Almightly, and although neither movie particularly interests me I am still greatful for the thought!

I just thought I'd pass it along, Comcast customers look out for packages!

We have been getting several coupons for free On Demand Movies the past few months from Comcast.

I would take a few free DVDs.

Time Warner's doing a roll over or get tough campaign with tv networks who want to drastically increase their fees for signal usage by Time Warner. It seems that TW wants to fight them and their fee increases.
