I'm very sad for them both; I thought so highly of Chris Brown, and have always loved both of their music, it's great to work out to.

Thats not 100% true - look at... whats his name - the guy on the radio that made fun of the womens basketball team, pretty much called them everything in the book other than the N-bomb.... Imus - he got his raido show back, and hes at it again, saying nasty things about anyone black.

So the moral of the story is - you can get away with anything and everything - just depends on who you are, and who you know.

My sister-in-law has lived with her computer nerd boyfriend for twenty years. He is verbally and emotionally abusive. He has managed to estrange her from most of her family. I guess the thing that gets to me the most is how he so carefully cultivated an image that was cleaner and kid-friendly, compared to most of the other singers of his genre, and then something like this happens... I feel betrayed.

I hope he gets professional help. It angers me that he would do such a thing to another human being, but I do feel bad for him as well as for her, because there's obviously something wrong there, that he needs to have addressed.

I won't argue that point. and I can not comment on how difficult it is to get out of this type of situation. I hope it gets better, one way or another.

A reputation is not a fact. Until you are close to someone you never know what they are like. And even then they can surprise you.

there is a considerable difference between asking for something and getting out of the way of something coming. Maybe he was the kindest, gentlest person ever and then suddenly snapped (like a pit bull story) that is one thing. I doubt that is what happened. There were probably signs, but I have no facts.

I can not begin to imagine what could set me off so much as to cause injury to another, short of that person inflicting great pain to family or friends or even a stranger.

I was very shocked to hear about this. Chris always seemed like a very nice guy and I thought he and Rihanna made a cute couple.

I wish nothing but the best for Rihanna and hope her physical wounds heal as well as her heart. Poor girl.
