Very windy too.

Down to the low 30's tonight. It is going to be a cold start to the day at MGM, but at least we are here. :cool1:

I was at Disney World December 31, 1999 and it was in the high 20's. Yes, it can be cold, but you'll at least never have the snow to deal with.

I'll take Disney World over Washington, DC anyday of the year.

Have Fun!

I hope it warms up for you!!! Nothing worse than expecting a warm vacation and then freezing. But hey at least ur not in the Northeast we have over a foot of snow in Jersey and it's in the low 20's. Wish I was on my trip!!!

Enjoy!!!

It's supposed to be 75 by Wednesday so it won't last too long. :Pinkbounc

Hey, At least you're not dealing with the snow up here! Argh! I hate it!

Cry me a river! ;)

I'm in Connecticut where I have just finished shovelling, snowblowing, and otherwise removing 1.5 feet of snow. :scared1:

We were in Sea World today and darn it was COLD! We finally had to give up (hey, we're South Floridians!). In the sun it was ok but the wind made it crazy cold. My dd and I were freezing. Especially on the walk from the Shamu stadium back to the water front on the bridge over the water... NOTHING to block that wind.

Another Palm Beach county person here who froze today at AK ~ It was FREEZING on Everest. We came home today but its still cold to me ~ but I love it!! Better than 90 degree heat and humidity we are used to.

Buy some of the handwarmers. They were our best friends when it got really cold a couple years ago.

Another south Floridian here and I love going to the parks when it's cold with a low of 45 or so, colder than that you really start to feel it,especially when the sun goes down.I prefer it cold to the 95 degrees with high humidity and constant rain in the summer!!

Not snow in the amounts like most of the country gets but it did actually snow during our last trip to WDW in January 1997. Well, it technically was snow but you had to squint pretty hard to see the tiny, tiny flakes -- still was a kick to watch the local news and see everyone freaked out over snow falling in central Florida.

During that trip, temperatures were colder than they had been in over 30 years.

The first half of our trip was normal Florida weather but the second half of the trip gave us evening temperatures in the 30s and night temperatures in the mid-20s and we had not brought our winter coats to WDW. We played miniature golf one night and could hardly stand to be out. Walking around DTD at night was miserable. People were scraping ice off of their car windows in the mornings.

On the last full day we were there (January 24 -- my DW's birthday), three members of the family went to AK, but seven of us stayed mostly indoors (and left one unused day on our Park Hopper tickets). The HIGH daytime temperature was about 36 degrees that day.

We were at AK today too! Left at around 2:30.

DS called me last night...he's in Tampa. He told me it was 'brisk' at his place but since he had all the windows open he couldn't complain. However his gf did complain to him, so he went to the computer and showed her shots of NE....she quit moaning.
I've been in WDW when it's in the high 40's and darn it..it seems a lot colder when it's in the 40's in Orlando than in the 40's here in Mass. Stay warm you guys....at least you aren't shoveling. And your feet don't get chilly and frostbitten at TL!!!

It has been the coldest EVER since I moved here in June. Under 32 degrees! It is supposed to be cold again tonight but warming up Wednesday. Can't wait until it gets warm again. We even had our heater on the last 2 nights! Ugh!

I bet the lines for Kali River Rapids will be short!

I thought I remember reading someplace that it can snow in every state or every state but 1 or 2. But, I don't remember where I saw that.

Well, I'm sitting in Iowa where it's minus 14. :scared: That's just crazy cold.
