I ordered some stuff from Amazon yesterday. It was delivered today!!!!

I lost my copy of Elf so I ordered a new one plus National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, TSO - Lost Christmas Eve and Peanuts Holiday Collection.

I have plenty of holiday movies to watch during this weekend's snowstorm. *crossing fingers*

What shipping method did you use?

I ordered some stuff yesterday, but I don't expect it to arrive until sometime next week.

But you we are both in Maryland and a lot of their stuff comes from pretty close by -- Delaware.

I ordered a CD last week..it was here the next day..I ordered a dvd this past Sun and it was here on Tues..I ordered something else yesterday..and it was delivered this morning..and now..I am DONE shopping!..lol

Must be nice. Free shipping from Amazon has stunk for me this year! It took 12 days to get my first box that I ordered BEFORE Thanksgiving. The others have taken at least a week or so. I stopped ordering last week, knowing it could be an issue. They are shipping Smartpost and I think our local post office just lets them sit for a long while after Fedex gets them there.

I just used standard shipping. These items did only come from PA but something I ordered this morning is coming from KS (according to fedex tracking) so I assume it will take longer.

I need to stay off of amazon. I keep ordering stuff!

Wow, count yourself lucky. I ordered something on Nov. 30th and it arrived Dec. 15. I ordered an Ipod for Christmas on Dec 13 and as of today they haven't shipped it yet! That was several days before the cut off date for getting it here by Christmas and if it doesn't get here, I'm going to be ticked!

I placed an order on December 11th, it shipped on the 12th and I received it on the 14th. No too shaby. This stuff came from Delaware.

The stuff I ordered that shipped out yesterday is coming from Kentucky.

I took a chance and ordered something on the 14th for a Christmas gift. It was shipped last night. Now, I'm hoping it will arrive in time.

I love Amazon, but it has taken up to 3 weeks to get certain things (usually books). That's ridiculous, in my book.

We've just discovered Amazon and it has been fantastic thus far. I have ordered a few things and done standard shipping on all of them. On one item, they estimated it would be here by tomorrow but it was here two days ago (Tuesday). I just ordered it on Friday evening! On top of the excellent delivery, their prices seem to be the best around.

I ordered a book standard shipping from Amazon on Sunday and received it today. Woo Hoo.

I opened this thread hoping it was about someone seeing my naked baby photos. I am sadly disappointed. :lmao:

On a serious not though, Amazon is great. They get a lot of my business.

I ordered some stuff on Monday or Tuesday. I just got the email saying it shipped today. Its expected arrival date is xmas eve. I really hope it gets here in time. There's a book in it that DS really wants and I can't find locally.

I have ordered from Amazon, using their free shipping, several years now and have never had a problem. That said, I'm still waiting on one PS3 video game for my grandson. I think it shipped on the 12th so hopefully today or tomorrow, maybe Monday. I do hope it gets here in time, but if it is late I'll just explain to grandson. He's 13 so it's not like he's a little kid to be truly disappointed. But I'm still hoping it gets here in time. I did stop ordering a week ago. There were some toys I wanted for the 3 youngest grandkids, but I didn't want to take the chance on them not getting here so I did buy them in stores here instead. I do love Amazon though. They have so many things, and good prices too, and it's even better when they offer free shipping. :lovestruc

Still waiting for my "Gone with the Wind" 70th anniversary collector's editon blu-ray to get here... ordered it on Tuesday.

The majority of my shopping was done on Amazon this year. I found shipping to be extremely quick!:thumbsup2

I received everything within days of ordering. Every year I order over $100 or more from them. I even had a return sent back and they processed it quickly. I'll just have to watch my credit card statement to reflect the credit. No complaints.
